I want to use shortcode factory to set featured image from url
to posts. but i can’t access shortcode factory from classic
editor.
the popup box keeps loading.
Please share the solution
Please share an example of
[scf-post-image]
website:https://abc.zd.fr
I purchased the Pro version earlier today to take advantage of custom fields.
All seems to work well except two where I am using a custom field to insert a link. The link is shown as including the custom fields name.
I am using;
Source: [scf-post-field name=”Source name”]
Could it be because I am using ” ” around the shortcode?
Many thanks
Hi,
I’ve started using your Shortcode Factory plug-in and it’s really fantastic & superb.
I’ve a question. I’ll be greatful if you could clear my doubts.
For the sake of an example, suppose, I host a WordPress domain, say xyz.com
This domain contains a page, say xyz.com/abc_def (Assume that this page contains 4 paragraphs and 2 images)
And I put a shortcode in all 300 articles on my website to embed xyz.com/abc_def content with a Shortcode.
Will Google treat it as “plagiarism” and penalize my website?
If yes, what should be the maximum length of the content on xyz.com/abc_def to avoid Google penalties?
Looking forward for your reply.
Thank you!
Thanks for a good plugin! Is it possible to list tags [scf-post-tag] in a bullet list (UL) instead of in one row with commas?
Hi there- avid user of your plugin in the last few years!
We are using Yoast on our site and their latest update is creating a conflict with this plugin – basically cannot edit any of the snippet descriptions.
Wondering if you will be issuing a fix on this?
No page loads with a user registration form, it just stays on the register link page. It tries to load the link that is given in this post.
We missed some of necessary code while releasing, which has been fixed and should be fine now.
Please remember to delete and reinstall the plugin. It will not harm any of your data and you will not lose any change. However, just take a trip to plugin’s settings page. You may need to turn on or off a few (if you had done previously).
We apologize for this inconvenience.
I need the shortcode for WordPress comments. The reason is because I want to have 2 columns on each page with FB comments on the left and WP comments on the right. I tried your plugin but don’t see a shortcode for WP comments. Can you please add that and let me know when it has been done?
Thanks
Hello,
I’m using a shortcode – [scf_login_link]
It’s going to the default woocommerce login page, but I want to link it to specific login page of my own. I tried to change the login url from general-template.php but it affects to all login links. How can I change the link only for this shortcode?
Thanks in advance!

Hi
I have tried to insert short code [scf-post-meta id=”2511″ output=”strong” type=”post-date”] but this seems not to be working at all as I can’t see anything on the page where I have inserted this short code. We are using Twenty Eleven as theme is there anything in this theme that prevent short code to work?

I’d like to replace the title of the post by the words “After” & “Before” in the “next” and “prev” shortcodes.
Is that possible ?
thank a lot answering me…

Thank you!
This plugin was just what I was looking for, especially that it has no styling (and if styling is added that it should be able to be disabled). However, I think it’d be helpful to be able to add a class
to each output.
For example:
[SCF-POST-ID]
returns 241
(I love that it’s “clean” output)[SCF-POST-ID class="myclass other_class"]
would return something like 241
[SCF-POST-ID class="scf-post-id myclass other_class"]
would return something like 241
Just a thought.
Thanks again for this plugin!
