I’ve contacted the owner of the plugin via email. He said he is no longer maintaining the plugin (as you might have thought already…).
But he is searching new owners who want to maintain the plugin, otherwise he’ll remove the plugin from the repo sometime.
So – is here anyone interested in maintaining the plugin?

Just updated to WooCommerce to 2.5.2 and there seems to be a conflict that causes the_content() function to fail silently. As in, no output. echo get_the_content() works fine and $post->post_content shows the content.
I think the the filter being added to the_content() filter is having issues.

)This might not be an issue with your code, so much as just a conflict with Woo, and how they create their shortcode objects.

It is working fine until I add some attributes to it.
As far as I did – when I try to insert a shortcode with a buttin in MCE, it asks me to enter the attribute value and throw the following error under submission
“Shortcode not found. Please verify your settings”

]]>When the plugin is activated, WordPress Pages and Sub-pages are hidden. You can go to the URL, but you will not see content. The pages are still “published” and content is visible in the editor, but you cannot view content when viewing the page.

I really wondering, it seems that Matt was here and did some changes to the changelog. Currently the Plugin is 1.15 but in the Changelog there is a 1.16 entry. Maybe this is not the release candidate but i would be really glad if Matt is doing an update. I love that plugin and see no alternative for it.

We’re using Shortcodes Pro on our website to insert a <span> element with a class. Unfortunately, instead of inserting a <span> element, the plugin is inserting a
<blockquote>, which messes with the formatting of our posts. Any one have any idea of why this would be happening, and how to fix it? Thanks in advance to this community.

I can’t find any code to transfer it into the home page, that has a simple line [smartblock id=268] on top.

We’re noticing that with the new update, accessing the code inside our individual shortcodes is becoming a problem. When we open them in our theme, they all appear empty, yet switching the a different theme they fill in. Since this isn’t really a good practice for us on a live site, is there a way we can work around this problem?

]]>I used the WP plugin duplicator to create a package of my production site so that I can do some local sandbox enhancements in my MAMP environment.
However, when I installed it locally, cleared the build cache, I get this warning from shortcodes pro:

The issue seems to be with this pattern variable:

I’m having trouble with a shortcode I created. I’m using it to implement the Graceful Pullquotes (https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/graceful-pull-quotes/) plugin, so the shortcode wraps content with <span class=”pullquote”> before and </span> after. I added the shortcode with a button in the visual editor so that my editors who aren’t as familiar with code can add pullquotes inside posts.
If I select select and wrap a sentence at the end of a paragraph, it works fine, but if I select any other sentence (earlier in the paragraph), when I save the post, the whole phrase (including the [do action][/do] disappears.
Can you think of why this would be happening? Sometimes if I re-add the text I can get the page to save, but it’s frustrating since I don’t want to explain this to all my editors.

First of all: thanks for the great work. I love the plugin and it has by far the best interface of all the shortcode guis.
The only thing which is quite annoying while using it is that it uses a “do” shortcode with attributes, rather than a real unique shortcode. This has a lot of obvious disadvantages, with nested shortcodes being the most obvious. But there’s more:
Maybe the creator wants to comment why he chose to go that road? There must be a reason that I don’t see (because I don’t see any!).
Any chance of having an option with real shortcodes rather than attributes?
Someone out there who could imagine working on a fork of the plugin? I could imagine contributing in form of a donation.
Or am I the only one bothered by this?

after the update 3.9.1 of WP, I have a problem with this plugin. When I click on a shortcode button in tinyMCE, the windows opens but the “insert” button doesn’t work. It says :”Shortcode not found, check parameters”. Shortcodes still working, if I copy/paste from another post, it works. But I can’t insert from tinymce. Do you have a solution ?

I recently upgraded WordPress to 3.9, and now my shortcodes that use a Select attribute (i.e. a pulldown list) no longer work. I still get the pop-up with the pulldown menu, but when I click on Insert, I get this:

Does anyone know of a way to fix this? Shortcodes Pro is an incredibly useful plugin, and I can’t find anything that can replace it. ??
]]>The TB_Window is positioned towards the bottom of the screen, cutting off some of the options. Tried just moving it up in CSS, but it doesn’t work once I start adding options as the box gets too big. Can this be fixed? Would love to try this plugin!

]]>I have installed WP today in a MAMP environment to test some plugins.
I have created some posts with text and images. But when Shortcodes Pro is activated, there is no content which is displaying anymore on the site, just the title of the posts. When I deactivate the plugin, the content displays correctly.
I have no other plugin activated. Shortcodes Pro is the first one I test.
What can I do? Shortcodes Pro do exactly what I want, I wouldn’t want to develop my website without it.

Here are the values I have set (I would prefer to have ‘column-tall’ but that doesn’t seem to work either):

Shortcodes Pro crashes in a major way when “Rich Editor Button” is ticked to enabled and the update button is pressed.
I’ve eliminated it as theme or plugin related by installing a clean WordPress instance with only Shortcodes Pro and switching between WooCommerce 2.0 stable and 2.1 RC2.
As per the below WooCommerce post, it might be worth someone lodging a testing issue, if the problem is with WooCommerce and not Shortcodes Pro:

Running WordPress 3.8, using the free zeeBizCard theme and the GameOn plugin.
I can insert custom Shortcode Pro shortcodes on pages and posts with no problems. However, on the custom post type (Quests) that Game On uses, I am unable to use Shortcode Pro to insert shortcodes. It goes through the motions of collecting the attributes (ie: popup works fine) but when I click the Insert button, nothing happens. No code (nor anything) is inserted into the edit boxes. There are 4 for each quest, and this doesn’t work in any of them.
Is there anything I can do to get it working? I really appreciate the functionality in my Post and Pages editors and would love to have it available in the Quests, too.

]]>Downloaded and tested plugin, looked very promissing BUT the Item select funktion doesnt work. Can do what I want always get empty pulldown window.
deinstalled other plugins and tried other theme, tested on WP 3.7.1
The popup window where you enter the settings is far to big (fixed position) so that you cant scroll down to click on the button. You have to resize the options and desc box to see the button = quite annoying!
I added this snippet to the “class-shortcodespro-main.php”
#TB_window {margin-top:-420px !important;}
right between the <style></style> tags around line 126. It solved the nagging problem for me…
