Hello there,
there is an incompatibility with “Yoast SEO Premium” plugin.
Yoast SEO Premium has a link counter: It counts inbound and outbound links of posts and pages.
The BUG:
When shorty plugin is activated, the inbound link counter in posts/pages overview disappears.
@flowdee: Can you offer a fix?
Best regards
Thomas
Can you please add revisions property to shorty post type to support revisions? I already tested it and works fine just want to make sure it won’t disappear on the next update. Thanks.
Hi there,
Thanks for this great plugin which seems to be one of the few working with WP 4.4. However I’ve noticed that WP always surrounds the tag with

tag which is problematic for inline shortcode.
Is there a way to prevent this?
Thanks!
Hi, I’m just wondering if I can execute php codes, and if its safe?
Thanks,
Ben
Im getting this error when I activate the plugin.
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_FUNCTION in xxx/wp-content/plugins/shorty/includes/shortcodes.php on line 25
Thanks,

This is a great idea for reusing blocks of content and would be super easy for clients to use for calls to action, buttons, etc.
However, what would make this even better is to add a button or dropdown to the TinyMCE editor where all the Shorty shortcodes were listed so a novice could just pick one without having to navigate tot the Shorty list.
Thanks for your consideration.
