Hi,
Works great on pages but when I choose a post it reverts to the standard sidebar.
I cannot provide access to the site as it works with children, an intranet and confidentiality laws apply. Sorry.
Cheers
PS
]]>Hello –
I have followed the (rather simple) instructions carefully:
–created a sidebar using Sidebar Manager
–selected some pages to which the custom sidebar should apply
–placed a custom-menu widget in the sidebar,
The sidebar/widget does not display.
Are there settings I should look for that might be interfering?
The theme I use normally has an automatically-generated menu in the sidebar place Iin which I am trying to use the custom sidebar. Might that present an issue?
Thanks
Jim
Hello,

Anther problem is conflict with cookie law plugin (show again tab don’t work) I think for header cookies problems.

We are using this plugin on Amero.dk, but we have one issue. We have one page, where the sidebar will not appear. We want to try something so we have setup af copy of out website. The page that this issue is regarding, is https://amero.dk.prolinux1.curanetserver.dk/e-conomic-kasseapparat/.
In the back-end we’ve set the page to “Left Sidebar” and we have marked Widget (CUSTOM-produkter) to this page in the plugin, but it will not appear.
We have comparet this page with one of the other, and we have made the exact same setup on both pages?
]]>Hi,

Thanks
Hello,
Can you help me remove or hide the displayed page name for a page created using Sidebar Manager Light?
Sidebar Manager Light is a really superb plugin. It worked out of the box 100% using WordPress 3.6 and the Genesis News theme. Thank you for that perfect function–which shows your attention to detail and quality.
I need to create an alternate home page which uses Sidebar Manager Light to layout the rows, columns and widget areas.
However I need to remove the page name (only for this alternate page/post), so that when the site loads the home page there is no page name at the top. This will make it look like a legitimate Home page.
If I use the WordPress Reading settings, and tell WordPress to use this alternate home page as the static home page–of course it shows the page name at the top.
The Genesis News Theme defaults to use the most recent posts as the home page content–which creates the superb Genesis News theme widgeted layout.
Warmest,
Chris
]]>Hi there,
I’ve just created a new sidebar and assigned to a single page (the blog page), added the widgets that I wanted. I’m not seeing the custom sidebar though.
I’m not sure how I can give you more information that might help diagnois the problem. I’ve tested in Chrome23 and IE9 with same result.
Thanks!

]]>Hi there!
I just found out that your plugin replaces functions names from WordPress core files and manipulates the file “wp-includes/widgets.php”.
This ist totally against best practices and WordPress coding standards. One should never ever touch core files.
It leads to breaking functionality with themes and/or other plugins. What is with plugins relying on the function “is_active_sidebar”?
I hope you could release an update of your plugin which changes the code this way that all ins in your plugin and that it never touches any core files.
Aren’t the hooks/filters of WordPress enough for modular plugins? Just wondering…?
Thanks, Dave ??
