Hi there,
I just checked out the plugin and found it to be simple and effective ??
Anyway, i think there are two simple ways you can add GDPR support to the plugin.
1. Get a GDPR cookie name and value as options, and only issue GA requests if the cookie exists (best if the check is done via JS, to avoid WP caching issues).
2. Probably even better — pass the output through an apply_filter
and each developer could alter the code pending on his implementation of the GDPR.
Just some thoughts I wanted to share.
Anyway, great plugin ??
Mickey.
Hi,
Can I use this plugin with Universal Analytics?
Thankyou,
Ana
Hi Jason,
I just need one information regarding this plugin. Currently it seems to work with the Multisite. I’ve tested by entering different random numbers and in the pages source code it displays exactly what was entered for each site in the network.
I just need an answer would you keep it compatible with the Multisite in the future?
Thanks!
