I have been using this contact form plugin for a couple of years and it has been great at keeping spam away even using just the simple question. It’s customizable and does not contain a bunch of slow unnecessary stuff, like most of the similar plugins I tried.

This is the contact form I have wanted for years – it has all the features I wanted and is simple to setup and use. It has simple anti-spam security, verification of email addresses and it is easy to change the prompts.

This plugin has some issues which needs to be fixed. In smartphone the Checkbox doesn’t work. Also in desktop view the checkbox (when unchecked) shows the error message in English also German was translated.

I’ve looked high and wide for a simple contact form that is not bloated or slows down my website (Contact Form 7 is slow!). Even went with online form creators like Jotform and hated them. Luckily I stumbled upon this gem of a plugin. It’s simple and doesn’t slow down my site. I love the anti-spam feature too! I set a simple question that bots cannot answer and it stopped virtually all spam! No need for Recaptcha that adds bloat to my site. I can’t recommend this plugin enough.

Best contact form ever! I tried many of them out and they are way to big and full of unnecessary clutter imo. I was wondering if next update you could add fields for hCaptcha? Might as well make these spammers pay me for solving a captcha and cluttering my junk box.

Finally a contact form which works out of the box. All the required fields where already filled in automatically. I did not change anything. I just placed the [simple_contact_form] tag on a page, which I named ‘Contact’, and it worked. Nice compact form design too.
You can tweak the form, but the default settings are fine with me. If you decide to tweak your form, you can always restore the default setting, using the restore defaults feature.
