Hi this slider works well inside the pages or post..
but i dint get any shortcode to run this Plugin.
to make it work in the pages or posts use the following simple steps:-
1). install the Simple Content Slider / Slideshow plugina and create the sliders as explained in the plugin.
2). install “Insert PHP” plugin to insert the hardcode of the slider plugin in side the pages or posts.
example: [insert_php]the_slideshow();[/insert_php]
thats it your slide runs as you think.
and you can include category to inside the function.,
example: [insert_php]the_slideshow(“cat=10”);[/insert_php]
Good, plugin. but need good explanation:-)

It might be a great slider… if the author ever bother to write how to make it work.

Shortcode of [‘slideshow’] works well enough to be placed into a page, however, it accepts no arguments. I also had issues with the content only being displayed as it was transitioning. Adding a short faq to the plug-in options page wouldn’t be a bad idea as well.
Lastly, I think it should be noted in your notes that this plug-in is a WordPress port of the SlideJS script by Nathan Searles (https://nathansearles.com)

I love the simplicity of the plugin, and in my case the features that the plugin offers is exactly what i needed.
I just have problems getting it to work with siteorigins panels module, there seems to be a conflict where panels overwrites the slider.
All in all a great plugin!
