Hi There, thanks for this but I cannot get working on recent versions.
6.2.2 and 6.3
Just blank white area where module should be working.
Set you correctly
Ie [showmodule=”772″] – not copied – typed.
Your docs are with older versions ?
https://yourimageshare.com/ib/Gca15MieUH
I notice when I log out of this post the ” look different – slanted – I have in the past had issues with things not working because of different versions of apostrophes etc, don’t know – just trying to think of a reason.
Updated image from orginal if you show that – shows settings.
On one of the sites – You have version 4.21.0 installed. Update to 4.22.1.
]]>Hello, I really love your plugin, it is very useful, thank you.
I just have a little issue: when I insert the shortcode with a code module, the container with the library layout doesn’t fill the complete column, I always have a tiny gap of 10 px on the right side and I don’t know how to get rid of it. The gap is not shown as margin or padding in the developer tools. I hope you can help me out.
Thank you, best regards,
Jacob
]]>Hi There,
I’m using the shortcode plugin to create the testimonial slider at the end of the visionandvowfilms.com homepage. It looks perfect on desktop but on mobile the slides look different to what I’ve built in the Divi library. You can see for “Fiona & Shane” “Cathy & Barry” and “Brid & Harry” slides have the quotation mark image is in the centre of the background instead of at the top left where I’ve set it to be in the Divi Library. The Layout is correct for the “Jose & Alan” testimonial but for some reason I can’t get it to be correct for the others. I would appreciate any help to fix this issue.
Thank you,
Amy
Hello, when I assigned a page for a blog showing listings, it broke the page and showed a 503 error on the page. Also, one post’s content is not showing in the Divi editor, and when I click on the post from the home page section, the post content is not opening.
]]>Hi, so i created a Section in Divi (and a Layout), both don’t work. On the Frontend it shows just this:
[et_pb_section global_module=”274046″][/et_pb_section]
I use your Plugin and used [showmodule id=”274046″]
]]>Hello, my problem is the following:
I used the Accordion building block on one page. For example, the title is “SComponents”. I would like to insert another accordion into this accordion. I created the other accordion in the library. The title of this is e.g. “beispiel”. When I paste the shortcode into the accordion on the page, it takes the title of the accordion from the library (“beispiel”) into the accordion on the page. Of course it should be “SComponents” as I entered it. Is there a solution for this? See the link at the bottom of the page. Thank you. Katri
Hi everybody,
so i always used the [showmodule]-Shortcode to inject Divi Sections somewhere. I’ve created 5 Sections with very basic modules (Text and Image) in between to inject Ads through Advanced Ads. But for some reason, only this code shows up on the frontend:
https://share-your-photo.com/1b7db5c6d1
Before it showed the Section without any problems and i didn’t change a thing here. Help?
]]>Hi,
I’m getting no results found for products that exist. Here is a video explaining – https://www.loom.com/share/066be8a9473a4808b8f0114a25379138.
I realize this only happens when on https://readysetjuice.online/juices/ and under ALL I go to the 2nd page and then click one of the other categories it doesn’t recognize because the url has appended ?product-page=2
]]>Hi, Did something happen with Divi to stop showing shortcodes? Your Simple Divi Shortcode plugin no longer shows the library item but instead shows the shortcode. Thanks, Daphne
]]>It seems that columns spacing, padding of images and texts are ignored when a layout is embedded in the tabs module. You can view it on the last tab.
]]>Hello,
Here’s an example of a page: https://coloradowatertrust.org/project/crystal-river-project
(click on the Related Materials tab). The output is this shortcode on the frontend:
[et_pb_dfbm_blog _builder_version=”3.2.2″ custom_posttypes=”post” include_post_categories=”5,23,8,6,22,7,9,10″ include_post_tags=”50″ header_tag=”h4″ show_content=”content” show_limit_words=”on” show_comments=”off” show_author=”off” read_more=”off” template_type=”module” /]
I put the site on staging and disabled all other plugins to see if there was a conflict, but that wasn’t it. Any help is much appreciated!
]]>Hi There,
I really like this plugin, but the last few days when I open the modules I’ve put shortcodes in, the divi visual builder becomes really slow and impossible to use in an efficient way.
Is there any way I can fix this as I love using this plugin.
Thanks,
Amy
HI, I have created a layout with the theme builder. One of the modules I want to load via your plugin. In my main language this works perfectly (see URL). When going to the translation (even after translating the module and updating the ID) it only shows up like this:
@ET-DC@eyJkeW5hbWljIjp0cnVlLCJjb250ZW50IjoiY3VzdG9tX21ldGFdGVzdGltb25pYWxfc2hvcnRjb2RlIiwic2V0dGluZ3MiOnsiYmVmb3JlIjoiW3Nob3dtb2R1bGUgaWQ9XCIiLCJhZnRlciI6IlwiXSIsImVuYWJsZV9odG1sIjoib24ifX0=@
What am I doing wrong?
Thank you for your support!
I’ve used this plugin on other sites with no issues, but now I’m having problems with it.
I created 3 layouts, then inserted the correct shortcode for each on separate tabs. All 3 tabs would only show the shortcode that is on the last tab. I double and triple checked that the shortcodes were all correct.
I then made a custom footer using the Divi Builder, and once I saved it the new footer shows up on all 3 tabs instead of the layouts.
]]>Tested and confirmed on multiple sites.
]]>Hi!
Thanks for creating this plugin.
However, like another poster here, I’m trying to embed a module in the footer (Social Icons) and the styles do not appear. For example, the css for the background colour of the social icons isn’t present at all.
Any ideas?
Cheers!
Hi,
Been using this plugin for quite some time and all was fine until recently. I had to delete the plugin and when I try to reinstall I’ve got this message :
Fatal error: Cannot redeclare showmodule_shortcode() (previously declared in /home/rkatwk/public_html/wp-content/themes/divi-child/functions.php:8) in /home/rkatwk/public_html/wp-content/plugins/simple-divi-shortcode/simple_divi_shortcode.php on line 26
If you have an idea to help me fix it… many thanks
]]>Bonsoir, Fabrice,
I want to put a shortcode into a Table Maker table that will refer to the ID of the hamburger menu on this page. I can’t find the menu’s ID.
What to do?
Merci, in advance!

Hi, I am trying to use SDS with calendar plugin EventON but apparently it does not work. I am on WP 5.6.2. Format of shortcode I insert is [showmodule id=’231580′] (not with ” because that is not accepted by plugin). Any knowledge of conflict with plugin EventOn? Or is it because you have tested up to WP 5.5.3 and not 5.6.2? Thanks for helping.
]]>Hi,
when using the plugin to load a code module [et_pb_line_break_holder] is added to each line of code.
Its not happening when the code module is inside the page – only when loaded with this plugin from the DIVI library.
]]>The plugin is no longer working for me.
Worked previously – code not changed – plugin does not work anymore.
Checked with other module, with newly created module, etc. nothing helped.
I’m using latest version of WordPress & DIVI.
See:
https://www.polar-racing.com/en/frontpage/
At the section – “News from Polar Racing” – the last news should be a bloom optin.
UPDATE:
Checked with the health tool. Does not seem to be a conflict with another plugin.
Hi! I hace two contact forms into a tabs module, but also my site have two lenguages more with WPML plugin, and the contact form don’t show in them. I created the tabs with divi shortcode for to insert the contact forms in spanish language (main language), but the shortcode don’t show in english and portugues language. Do you know if are the some incompatibility?
Thanks you, I hope your help.
Great plugin only when I add the short code in code module on Extra theme, the custom button styles to not show. Goes to default styles. Any ideas?
]]>When I try to use the shortcode anywhere it only shows the last item saved in the Divi Library. If I create a new item in the divi library it totally ignores the ID and only shows the newest one. Any suggestions?
]]>Hi, I want to test your plugin but but I can see that you haven’t updated the plugin for a few months. Is it compatible with wordpress 5.5? I use the latest version of Divi, 1.0.0. Is it safe to install?
]]>Hello,
I apologise if I have misunderstood what this plugin does however I thought it was used to embed a Divi library item into a theme template file as it says “embed any Divi Library item … inside a php template by using a simple shortcode”.
I would like to use this feature to set a sitewide footer which is to appear on every page rather than the user having to insert a global footer section on each page or select a pre-defined layout.
I have created a layout in my Divi Library using the layout type “section”. I have styled it as I wish for it to appear on the site. The post ID is 1218.
I have therefore inserted the following in my footer.php theme file:
<?php echo do_shortcode('[showmodule id="1218"]'); ?>
It shows the content but no styling at all. The rows and columns are not shown, the background colors, fonts etc are all missing. It is default ugly html in times new roman.
If I insert the exact same global section from the library into the content area on the same page using the divi builder it looks all nice and styled but not the version inserted via shortcode by this plugin in the footer.php file.
I am using the divi builder with a custom blankslate theme. I have also tried with twenty twenty and same issue except it has some twenty twenty styles but still not divi styles in the footer insertion of the layout.
What am I missing?

Bonjour Fabrice,
