Hi.
I’m getting a Warning message displayed (top of page) on all of our Post pages.
Warning message:
Warning: strpos() expects parameter 1 to be string, array given in /home/wp_zz7qku/news.coconinokids.org/wp-content/plugins/simple-facebook-og-image/simple-facebook-ogimage.php on line 229
Warning message goes away when plugin is deactivated.
Can you take a look and let me know if it’s something on our end… or yours?
Thank you.

The above solution is working for whatsapp also.
]]>When I write the link https://varosvedo.hu/ in, it gives wrong thumbnail. It is the image of a book I recommend in the slide in the header, but does not represents whole the site. I’ve upploaded a better image in the Simple Facebook OG image, but it doesn’t appears in the facebook.
]]>It was working fine with all the other posts in the website. All of the sudden, it doesn’t work on one of the new pages. When we create a post on FB, it couldn’t detect the OG image. We tried to change the image again, but it doesn’t help. By any chance we can fix this issue? Thanks.
]]>Did the latest update (6 days old) and then the log-in screen wouldn’t work (“Internal Server Error – 500”). After removing directory from the Plug-Ins folder, the log-in screen worked again. I’m using the Chrome browser on Windows 7. Great little plug-in by the way. Thanks.
]]>I posted the following forum question on www.ads-software.com and got a recommendation to check out your plugin. Do you think this plugin will do what I am asking in the following question?
Hello –
When I post a link to my website https://doodlenoodle.com on Facebook, I don’t like the images it showcases.
Is there a way for me to manage which image or images it shows when I post a link to my WP home page in Facebook?
Can I manage this within my WP site, or would this be on the Facebook end?
Thanks!
]]>Hi,
Thanks for the plugin.
Please add support for getty-images embedded image being used as og:image, for those who don’t like embed.ly.
The embedly change you just added breaks things. At line #74 in simple-facebook-ogimage.php you reference the function “is_plugin_active”, unfortunately this function is admin-only, so it works if you are logged in to the site, but not if you are a visitor. Quite dangerous as it “looks” to the site administrator like the site is working fine, but broken for all visitors.
The problem should be solved by adding this to the beginning of the file;
include_once( ABSPATH . 'wp-admin/includes/plugin.php' );
hth.
]]>When I share my site on FB, it’s is automatically pulling the image from my first blog post featured image. I want the image to be my site’s logo. This is when I share the main site, not a specific post or page. I have installed your plugin, and set the image that I want under Settings. It’s still pulling the wrong image. Under settings, I’m told to upload the image. After that, I save it. Is there more? What else can I do? Thanks a lot.
]]>Had an update notification. I updated and went to continue working on blog posts. When I hit preview a blog post it gave me this error: Fatal error: Call to undefined function is_plugin_active() in [removed]/wp-content/plugins/simple-facebook-og-image/simple-facebook-ogimage.php on line 74
Deactivated the plugin to resume working. Any insight appreciated.
]]>It work on normal post type but in page it not show the “Simple Facebook OG image” meta box and also pick up other image in posts (content) which is not the one that we assign as Featured Image. It work perfect on Post. But it do nothing on Page. Please fix. It is really awesome If I not care about page lol. I don’t want to install more plugin. This one is simple and almost perfect!.
