All the events are displayed in order (newest first), except the first event with the cover photo. The first displayed event is an older event at a later date, even though a new event at an earlier date has been added.
Is there a way to make it so that the event at the earliest date is displayed first w/ the photo?

Only one of the events from the Facebook group is displayed, and it’s not the most recently made one either. I would like for both events (including events to come) to show up, preferably newest first. Isn’t this how this plugin usually works?

The Simple Facebook Plugin apaprently cannot work with the site I have put as problematic (https://www.altrimondi.org/), while, for example, it’s working well with another site of mine (https://www.nuove-vie.it/) tha shows no technical differences in respect of the first one.
The only difference is the Theme, but both are ElegantThemes software, the first is called Extra, the secondo Divi, but are really keen softwares.
Any idea?
I will contact Elegantthemes also, but already I know the answer: “It’s a pluging problem.”

Hi,

I brought up a new site this morning (mine) with the plug-in and it was working just fine. Looked great.

I checked back a couple hours later and was working fine as well. However, a few more hours later and nothing but the Title. Nothing changed in the interim on the page. The Facebook page is up and running. The only thing that changed were visits and likes to my Website and Facebook page. The “Likes” and Faces were showing up on the page as expected.

Before going to crazy and after revisiting the instructions (not much too it) I’m looking for suggestions of what may have happened here. Did some security kick in I am not aware of?

Unfortunately, though I set up “Italian” language, I cannot see the text in Italian (always in English).

I was using the Simple Facebook Plugin by topdevs.net. Everything was working all right until the Guttenberg upgrade. Now, it doesn’t come up all.

I have added the Simple Facebook Plugin and added the widget to the sidebar on the home page. I can view it on multiple devises and different platforms here in South Africa, however my client in the UK cannot see the feed. All he sees is the header ‘Our Facebook Page’. He has viewed it on multiple devises and platforms and I have requested a few other people in the UK to have a look to and all see the same.
Is there is a solution to this?

In the instructions, you said not to use the profile URL, but the page URL. Will this plugin not work if someone does not have a business page set up? The only URL she has for Facebook is https://www.facebook.com/shari.steinbach.7.

Hi guys, so something very weird is happening. When I plan my posts they are published in facebook normally with a visibility to all. But then I am the only one who can see them. I ask my friends and nothing. I have to manually go and do it again so people can see what I post.

thank You for nice extension. If it would work as described for newest verison of WordPress, it would be great!

This works:
– displays the header of the FB page
– displays the timeline
– displays the number of likes to page and to posts
– it is possible to like the FB page

This doesn’t work:
– “like” for status on timeline throws error with white page
– sign in with FB throws error with white page

This plugin keeps on disabling my website that I can’t even log in anymore. Why is it keep crashing my site instead of the plugin actually working?

if I add in text block timeline=true events=true messages=true (I would like to display timeline and event and message)

The plugin doesn’t display anything for us.
It shows just the title header but no image header, no content …. nothing.
I used the plugin in the right sidebar in the widgets section.
WD Version 4.8.2

Settings I used for the plugin:

Facebook Page URL: https://www.facebook.com/silver.springscourt.1

Width: 250px
Height: 450px

Header
Show Friend’s Faces: checked

Tabs
Show Timeline: checked
Show Events: checked
Show Messages: checked

Also I make sure that FB privacy settings are set to Public (or Everyone)

What am I doing wrong here?

At some point in the recent past (exact time unknown) the Simple Facebook Plugin stopped working.
The title of the widget is still shown, but that’s all.

WordPress 4.8.2
Simple Facebook Plugin version 1.5
Vantage theme by SiteOrigin version 1.6.6
Page Builder plugin by SiteOrigin version 2.5.12

We use Page Builder to build the home page, and have SFP as a widget in one of its columns.

Both the home page and a test page with just SFP in a Page Builder column throw the following JavaScript:

Hi, I installed your plugin on a new site being developed with the WP 2016 theme and I cannot get it to display in the sidebar under “Simple Facebook Page”. I have tried Chrome & Firefox. Also, tried viewing on MS Edge & my iPhone which have no extensions or ad-blockers and I cannot see it. I verified it is the correct FB URL & I even tried disabling Kaspersky and the problem continues. Any ideas what I am missing?

Hi, It was working for a long time but a few days ago I realised that the auto width isn’t working correctly, despite the container size being smaller than 500px, it still returns 500px. Especially problematic for phones.

2 questions:

1. Can I center the facebook area on my page – right now it is aligned to the left.

2, It appears the max width is 500 px. Is there any way to make it wider.

I would think these may be possible through CSS but I have not found the way to do either.

By the way – thank you for this plug in – it did exactly what I wanted. I tried 4 others and either could not make them work (a couple were very difficult to understand) and the others did not provide the facebook look as yours does. Thank you !

Is there any replacement for this php call in 1.5 and above planned?

after update to 1.5 the show_posts option no longer work.
According to Developpers Facebook it is deprecated in favor of tabs/data-tabs and use the value timeline ; plus it is missing the convenient small_header option.

Any updates soon for your cool plugin ?
