Hi again @jakeob
I see that you have been issuing a new version 1.4.6. While you are at it, here is another suggestion:
When we click on a file to see it and we come back to the original tab, the tree is closed. It would be nice that we come back to the same view (tree still opened).
Let me explain. Let say we have the following tree:
Folder1
File1
File2
Folder2
File3
File4
When we open the page, we see:
Folder1
Folder2
When clicking to Folder1, we see:
Folder1
File1
File2
Folder2
When we click again on Folder1, we see the tree closed:
Folder1
Folder2
(That is good behavior when clicking on Folders)
But if we click on File1 to see the file in another tab, when we come back to the original tab, we see the tree collapsed:
Folder1
Folder2
It would be nice that the tree stays opened so we see where we were at in our browsing. Thus not changing the view:
Folder1
File1
File2
Folder2
(That in my humble opinion would be a better behavior when clicking on Files)
You could make it the standard behavior or have it as an option.
Thanks again for this great plugin!`
]]>I like you plugin very much and I am sorry that you are not developping it anymore.
It would be nice of you if you could indicate me how I should modify the code in order not to display the file extension ?
Example : Presently it is displaying “Myfile.pdf” and I would like it to display only “Myfile”.
Thanks in advance!
]]>this plugin is exactly what I was looking for. However, my website has a dark background and I’d like to change this plugin’s text color, perhaps via CSS, how can I do? thanks in advance!
]]>When I use short code of this plugin, the site page menu is not working (no dropdown menus, no more dorpdown symbols on menu.
Wordpress 5.8.1
Elementor v3.4.7
Elementor Pro v3.4.2
Do you have any advise?
Thank you.
Bogdan
PS: The Elementor editor loads pages only in safe mode when this plugin is activated.
My path is /wp-content/uploads/ad
But
ERROR –> Set path does not exist.
Hello, your plugin seems to work very fine even on a last version of WP. I wish to add CSS rules to display files in a dropdown list displaying when hover on the first item. I can override a lot of rules of your css but with a lot of “!important” and it’s not very good. So, I can change directly your css but what happens when updating ?
thanks for your work !
Trying to use your plugin but when i enter any path to the /wp-content/uploads/yourfolder where my folder is i always get a Path does not exist message.
]]>Hello,
Trying out this plugin.
First i found some incoherence:
When you go to settings > simple ftp > path to folder the example is /wp-content/yourfolder
Nevertheless your literature says that “your folder” must be within the uploads directory (wp-content/uploads/yourfolder)
If the second is true then please change the example bc it causes confusion.
In my case, my uploads folder is not in /wp-content/uploads but in /uploads (this is very typical when you want your uploads folder in the root of the wordpress installation)
So, any folder i try will give me the message “error, set path does not exist”.
It’s a pity, i cannot even see how the plugin works because no path i set will work.
Regards
]]>Hi there,
I need to disable the jump to top action after a folder has been clicked on (selected). How’s that possible?
And thanks for this gorgeous addon/plugin. It rocks!
Kind regards
Marco
