Guys how come there is no remove button, how do you remove a background image once it been set?

I had installed Simple Full Screen Background Image pluign to add background image. This image is reflecting in all the pages. I now need to remove this background image. I deleted the plugin but all the pages still have this background image.
How to remove this background image permamently?

I used this plugin, but not good working in mobile version.

Hi, on my homepage I have a button to switch between dark mode and white mode, but if I put a background in dark mode during white mode, everything else looks bad and becomes unwatchable, so I would like to change the background between one and the other, is it possible?

Is it possible to specify different background images for different archive pages? I currently have 2 custom post types in my site and would like to have different fullscreen background images for each archive. Right now, I can specify one background image for all post archives, which is not what I want to do.

While browsing https://www.trearty.properties/ on mobile white space appears until you navigate around the page and then everything displays properly and it seems to be an issue with the Full Screen BG Plugin.

Any help with this would be much appreciated.

I’m trying to add a background for my home page and I’m not sure I have a Theme that will do that. I click on Background in my Control Panel and have uploaded a photo. Dear Mr. Willianson,

We’ve tried this plugin but haven’t obtained a full background image. Instead, we’ve got the image under the footer on some pages. Then, once we uninstalled the plugin, the image went away, but a white strip under the footer remained on every new page created.
Would you have any idea on why this is happening and how to remove the white space? We just want to be back to what we had before installation. We haven’t backed up the website before installing the plugin, unfortunately.
For reference, the theme is twenty thirteen.

Hey – sorry to be such a noob!! Just getting into WordPress and was *so* happy to find this plugin. Working like a charm on my home page, but it’s also on all the rest as well. I did find this older thread:

asking the same question, but I wasn’t able to get it to work, though I doubt I was doing it correctly! I cut and pasted the lines of code, such as:

#fsb_image { display: none!important; }
.home #fsb_image { display: block!important; }

…into the very end of my style.css file – is that the correct way to do it? Do I need to replace anything in the code, such as the image title in place of #fsb_image?

Sorry to ask such a dumb question – I would be most grateful for your help!

I have the plugin installed and it covers my entire site so that there is no whitespace. Site is andreiathoughts.com I want the plugin to not cover the center blog area, but the whitespace outside of that container. If anyone can help it would be much appreciated.

Thanks for a nice, simple plug. It has always worked well for me.

However, I also run the WPtouch Mobile plugin, and a recent update of that plugin caused a had a problem on my website – only in the mobile mode the menu was frozen.

On investigating, I found that the WPTouch plugin worked properly if I disabled your Simple Full Screen Background Image plugin.

I realise that clashes between plugins are tricky to resolve, but I am passing this info on to you. I will also inform the developer of the WPtouch Mobile plugin.

I am required to have our website comply with WCAG 2.0 Level AA and the checker keeps telling me that I need to have an “alt” tag assigned to the image that I am using as the full screen background image. The image itself in WordPress does have alt text, and I have tried setting it to decorative, but this checker wants alt text, and the full screen background image plugin seems to not pick up the alt text from the image. I have read that a background is decorative and does not need alt text, but tell the checker that! Is there a way to placate this requirement and just get a word or two of text included with the link to this image that I am using for the background? Thank you.

Hi there. I installed this plugin to use with the “Mantle” theme. I uploaded an image that is 1707 x 2500. The plugin only displays the upper left hand part of the photo instead of the full photo. Even at smaller resolutions (I tried 25% of the picture size), it still only displays the upper left hand portion. Do you have any suggestions for getting the full image to display? Hi, everything is working great except for on screens with 1024 x 768. The background distorts and stretches vertically instead of resizing. Can someone help me with this? Thanks,

Edit:I ended up just adding some code to the custom css, fixed.

My background image will not go to thr right side of the screen on a desktop. It can on my ipad though. On the desktop, it stops when it is around 85% there, and starts the image again.

I am using the tesseract theme. I use a PC, old version of windows on a desktop. I think the problem is there regardless of the browser…but not sure (just read that above)

Is there a way I can force wp to display a full screen hgt page even when there is no content. I wish to use this plugin as the home page full screen image, but currently I am lumbered with the copyright notice about half way down the page.

I have a problem regarding this plugin. I use the free version. Every post I put on Facebook is only getting the BG I use on this plugin every time. I was wondering if there was a way to exclude it and also have facebook recognize the pictures that I put in the wordpress posts itself.
