My website is https://www.shapecontractor.co.uk When I installed simple photo gallery plugin https://en-gb.www.ads-software.com/plugins/simple-photo-gallery/ it redirects my home page to its gallery page.
When it is active, deactivated and deleted It continues to do even when t i have removed these pages fully, even from the bin. This is becoming very frustrating can someone help me please?
HI,
I have just installed simple photo gallery and tried to upload my first gallery. The upload all went smoothly. I selected template 3 for the masonry option. However, when I click on the thumbnail to view I get the following error message as if there is an error in the directory somehow:

]]>Hi, I am having a particular issue when creating a gallery using template 1, I have an existing gallery that is functioning as desired with 3 thumbnails per row (9 thumbs per page) in a landscape orientation using template 1 (3×3 grid). However, I have created a second gallery using the exact same settings and my images are stacking one above each other in a vertical orientation, I have tried and tried using the same images from within the gallery that functions correctly but they just stack ontop of each other rather than 3 per row or a grid formation.
Any advice? Many thanks.
]]>This is happening on my portfolio site. There are 3 galleries: Illustration, Character Design and Comics. But the lightbox feature is just working for Illustration. In all other galleries, images are opening as plain links.
All the galleries share identical parameters and have been inserted via shortcode, so I’m at a loss of what is happening here.
]]>When i use the album shortcode on the page [wppg_photo_album id=”3″], it will show the available galleries in the album but i can’t open them.
(used on: https://hondenspeeltuindebroekpolder.nl/fotos/)
When i go directly to the album page (for example: https://hondenspeeltuindebroekpolder.nl/fotos/albums/hondenspeeltuin-de-broekpolder-in-opbouw/) i can open the galleries without any problem.
Is the shortcode incompleet or do i use it incorrectly.
]]>Hello.
I really like the Masonry option but i have a problem with size.
When i try to open the gallery, the image is oversize.
I also read this article that i found
https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/lightbox-window-size-of-the-browser?replies=2
but did not solved the problem.
Can you help me, please?
Thank you.
]]>Hi
How can I active a responsive lightbox? Or is it possible to use an other lightbox plugin like “Featherlight”?
]]>I am having problem listing multiple albums in the same row. Any help is greatly appreciated.
]]>Tengo muchas galerías en mi pagina web, y en la mayoría de ellas no funciona el lightbox, se abren en otra pesta?a, pero en otras galerías se visualiza correctamente. ?Que puede ser? Tengo la misma configuración en todas las galerias
]]>I deactivated and deleted your plugin, but it remains in my plugin directory on my web host.
]]>I deleted the broken images from my Media Library (see “Removing image from gallery” support forum post). I deleted my gallery, and I deactivated and deleted the plugin. Now the duplicate images are in my Media Library and are displaying. I checked my web host file manager under Uploads. Your plugin creates duplicate images, which are not removed when a gallery is deleted, or when images are deleted from a gallery.
]]>If I remove, rather than delete, an image from a gallery – yes, it stays in my Media Library. But it also creates a duplicate image in my Media Library.
The duplicate image shows if I’m on the “Add/Edit” tab under Photo Gallery on the Dashboard and am trying to add images to the gallery from my Media Library. However, if I just look at my Media Library, I see a broken image – grey square with X in the corner.
]]>My first two galleries displayed fine. Then I created a Masonry template gallery – clicking on thumbnails never opened a larger image – just the circling icon.
Then I created a Template 2 gallery. Thumbnails never loaded.
Template 1 worked fine, though my least favorite template. I’m not sure why this template is a choice, since Template 2 is much better aesthetically.
]]>It would be nice to have the Watermark Settings under General Settings instead of having to set them (if not using the plugin’s default settings) every time a Gallery is created. I will be creating at least 50 galleries, and it would be easier to set the Watermark Settings once.
You could still have an “override” option when creating a new Gallery to also create a different watermark for that gallery.
]]>If I delete an image from a gallery, the image is also deleted from my Media Library.
]]>Can the Gallery/Album Name be either:
(1) Optional, or
(2) Hidden.
I don’t want the Gallery or Album Name to show on the page.
]]>[wppg_photo_album id=”1″]
I don’t see this in writing anywhere in the documentation so far, but I’m presuming it follows the logic of the other shortcodes.
]]>Can you create a cut-and-paste shortcode for the galleries and albums?
This could be either a link from the page/post editing page or on the Gallery Management and Album Management pages.
]]>When creating a new Album, I click on Select Album Image, then click on Media Library which displays thumbnails of images. I can’t click on a thumbnail itself, but I can click on “Show”, then “Insert Into Post”, but then I just go back to the Create Album page – no URL is in the Album Thumbnail URL field. I have to go to the Media Library, open the image and copy the image URL from the Attachment Detail then paste it into the Album Thumbnail URL field.
]]>Hi, I set up the Plugin, created 2 test Galleries and One Album, loaded to the default page created “Gallery” in settings.
I selected all the images for each new gallery from existing images located in Media Library. The Galleries are working okay with various display template options.
However for every image I selected to go into these 2 galleries, I now have duplicated images in Media Libray….WHY??
Any suggestions appreciated? Thanks Dennis
]]>Hello, I really liked your program. But lightbox when displaying photos is constantly pushed beyond the bounds of the window or shows a little picture. How can I change the slideshow in the lightbox window size of the browser? thank you very much
]]>Hello,
My album view here:
https://kr-events.co.uk/krevents/wppg_photogallery/
is not properly responsive on mobile (Android Galaxy s6 using chrome browser)
The images for each gallery in portrait mode are shifted to the left and only have one gallery image per row rather than 2 galleries per row as expected.
It’s better in landscape mode.
Things are fine on desktop pc.
Please advise, thank you. Is there a change in css code I can make?
Regards,
Lee
Love the plugin, thanks.
I would like to be able to show the album name when viewing the photo detail page. Is that possible.
Also where can I view the list of shortcut codes for this plugin.
thanks,
Tom
Hi there, I want to be able to manually sort my galleries as the system will be used for a photographers website, and as it stands the only way to do a manual sort is to upload the images in the order that you want them. Then if you decide you want to change this order you effectively have to delete the images in the gallery and re upload in a different order. An ideal way would be to add in functionality like the plugin ‘Simple Custom Post Order’.
If you could give me any advice on how to implement this that would be most helpful.
best
Harry
