When I adopted the twentyfifteen theme, naturally the code snippet I inserted in themes/twentyfourteen/content.php stopped working. That was an easy fix. But now the counter has stopped displaying for individual posts again, for no apparent reason. I have not changed themes, and themes/twentyfifteen/content.php still contains the code snippet (it has not been edited or anything). It worked fine for many weeks, then just stopped. ????

I’m using a Genesis theme and was wondering where exactly to paste the coding? I’m using the Foodie Child Theme and having a difficult time applying the instructions given to the theme I’m using. I’d like for the post views to appear just below the post title just after the author’s name.

The coding I’ll be adding is listed below:

Your plugin was spewing php notices into my debug_log / error_log files about an undefined offset in the wp-includes/plugins.php file (line 871 in version 3.9.2). I think the reason is that you had the register_uninstall_hook with a capital R.

What is the embed code to display the counts directly in the theme?

I’m also curious, because I keep running into this problem, I need to only display the views of the actual post. It will display at the top of the page and on the post preview on the homepage, but should only count the post page views. Does it work this way?

I’m also encountering a serious problem with caching in Firefox. Any solutions to that? Numbers won’t update.

Hello,

the plugin is what I was looking for, because it is the first one working with Super Cache. However the statistics of most viewed shall be included in next version to make it PERFECT. It would be great to show a list of top 10 viewed in last 7 days.

Also – when I past the code to index template, the counter adds views for all listed posts at once.
