Hello Brice,
I would delete this topic, but i cannot delete it? Where is delete button here?
Hello! First of all, I love the idea for this plugin. Thank you for your great work here!
However, I do not see the “Purge” link beside revisions for a page managed by the Block Editor. This is happening with only the Simple Revisions Delete plugin active and using the Twenty-Twenty Four theme.

Thanks!
]]>Hello!
I have been using this fantastic plugin and it worked fine until latest updates of other plugins. It used to work great even in combination with WP Revisions Control
I have deactivated all plugins and also deleted WP Revisions Control but the problem still persists. I can no longer purge and delete revisions. The “Purge” button that used to show up beside the number of revisions is no longer showing up. I tried clicking and right clicking on the number of revisions to see if that action could somehow activate the plugin, but again, this did not work either.
Please let me know how to fix this issue and have the plugin working again in my website.
Thanks a lot in advance ??
Liliana

]]>Hello,
How can I activate the possibility of seeing the list of revisions so that I can delete any one of them as shown in the fifth Screenshots on the plugin presentation page?
Thanks
]]>Hi there Brice – We’ve been using your plugin to help clean up posts that have an excessive number of revisions. We appreciate your work on the plugin and have found it very helpful for speeding up site maintenance.
Most of the time it works great, but there’s one scenario that we’ve run into several times where there’s an issue.
Basically, if a post has an excessive number of revisions (say, several thousand), then it can hit the memory limit and throw an error when you try to visit its editing screen, especially on the Classic Editor.
The general fix for that memory limit error is to delete some or all of its revisions. However, in the scenario mentioned above, we can’t hit your plugin’s Purge button because the post’s editing screen won’t load, so we have to do it through the database instead, which is less convenient.
Would it be possible for you to add the Purge button to the post list screen (/wp-admin/edit.php) so that it can be called without visiting the post’s editing screen?
That feature would greatly increase the plugin’s utility, both by working around the memory limit error and also making it faster to use on multiple posts.
]]>Hi Brice,
I installed your plugin and as I can see is very helpful. But I would like to give you one suggestion. I′m working with LearnPress and CourseBuilder and when I add the courses the WP_POST_REVISIONS doesn′t work and your plugin doesn′t give me the possibility to delete its.
I don′t know if you can add this new option to your plugin. I know a lot of people use LearnPress and CourseBuilder and maybe you can “sell” this plugin in https://codecanyon.net/. I will be the first person to buy it!!!
Cheers,
Alex
Hi
Just wondering whether this plugin is obsolete now?
Hasn’t been updated for more than 1 year and won’t be compatible with latest WordPress version obviously.
Does anyone know?
I will have to look for another plugin then I think
Thanks
]]>Hello,
I have been using this fantastic plugin in other websites without issues.
In this website the plugin started working but it stopped all of a sudden. I cannot figure out when or why.
I tried disactivating it and re-activate it (as well as I did with other plugins) but unfortunately I couldn′t find my way to make it work again
Please help me fix this issue
Thank you in advance !

]]>Have received a report that this plugin has been abandoned. :-O
Updated September 16, 2020, tested to WP 5.5.11
Plugin Name: Simple Revisions Delete
Current Plugin Version: 1.5.1
Last Updated: September 16, 2020
Details: It was last updated 2 years 1 month ago and tested up to WordPress 5.5.11. Plugins can be removed from www.ads-software.com for various reasons. This can include benign issues like a plugin author discontinuing development or moving the plugin distribution to their own site, but some might also be due to security issues. In any case, future updates may or may not be available, so it is worth investigating the cause and deciding whether to temporarily or permanently replace or remove the plugin. Get more information. I truly LOVE this plugin and have been hoping and praying for an update.
Will this be updated or abandoned forever?
]]>Hi, wordpress is showing this plugin hasn’t been updated in 12 months. Are you able to update it so it shows it’s compatible with the latest version of wp?
]]>Thank you for this plugin. It works perfect for posts and pages but it doesn’t seem to support Porfolio pages. Am I missing some option ?
Could you add Portfolio support ?
Thanks again
]]>Hi,
I am currently using the plugin with WooCommerce and Redis Object Cache by Till Krüss on a few sites. However, I encountered a somewhat annoying issue.
Once the Simple Revisions Delete plugin is activated with these plugins, the price of variable products does not correspond to the one entered. Once deactivated, the problem no longer exists. It is important to note that this problem does not occur for simple products, only variable products.
Is there a specific reason for this happening? And if so, would it be possible to remedy it?
]]>I’ve used and loved this plugin, but lately it stopped working for posts and only works for pages. Did something change in either WordPress or the plugin?
]]>Salut Brice! I had SDR installed on my staging site, working just fine, but rolling over to the production site, the plugin is still installed, I can see it in the plugin list, and I even re-installed it, but the revision number and purge info and so on no longer show up in the editing interface where they used to (under the “Status and Visibility” block and above the “Permalink” block… any advice? Merci bien! JH
]]>I have a custom post type named “einrichtung”
What code I need to add, that the plugin works for this custom post type?
Thanks.
]]>Your plugin is fantastic!
Can you consider adding support for bbPress, please?
bbPress (by WordPress) uses a custom post type but the native posts database table. Unfortunately, I do not see the “Purge” option when editing a bbPress post as I do with a regular WordPress post.
If there’s a function I can add to my functions.php to get this to work in the meantime, that would be awesome.
Thanks in advance for your support! And thanks again for a great plugin.
]]>I know the plugin still works great but can you still send out some kind of update so our websites can stop getting warnings about your plugin?
]]>Hi dear plugin developer!
I added
function bweb_wpsrd_add_post_types( $postTypes ) {
$postTypes[] = 'product';
return $postTypes;
}
add_filter( 'wpsrd_post_types_list', 'bweb_wpsrd_add_post_types' );
in functions.php file but I don’t see tab revisions in Woocommerce Single Product Editor. Could you tell me please what must I do that tab revisions will appear in products?
]]>Hi, I find your plugin very useful, however security software is tagging this plugin as:
– “The Plugin “Simple Revisions Delete” appears to be abandoned (updated November 29, 2016, tested to WP 4.6.13).
Type: Plugin Abandoned”
Are there plans to address this? If so, I will keep using the plugin, otherwise I will switch to an alternative.
Thanks
]]>Hi,
great plugin!
When using the “Purge revisions” bulk mode even on small websites with multiple custom fields (database ~1MB) you quickly get a PHP timeout. This makes the bulk process useless if you have bigger databases (e. g. ~20 MB).
It would be better to refactor the bulk mode to process posts in (AJAX controlled) chunks. For an example see Compress JPEG & PNG images‘ bulk mode.
What do you think about this?
Thanks!
Just take a look at screenshot – https://www.fastpic.info/image/44a32a0128
]]>Hi -I installed this plugin to clear revisons but now the revisons option is not even showing in Page Options for my site? I uninstalled the plugin but it still does not show? It shows under post options but not Page Options, how do I get back page options on my site?
]]>Hi there,
First of all: great plugin!
When will this plugin be compatible with de newest WP release 4.7.1?
In case it already is, can you please update the information?
I now have to wait with updating WordPress while there are serious security issues in previous versions.
Thanks!
]]>Thought you should know that your plugin has a conflict with Woocommerce. When activated, I’m unable to get the Duplicate Product option to work in Woocommerce. When clicked it asks if I’m sure I want to do it, but it never duplicates the product, and I can’t use the copy to draft product option either. Once I deactivate Simple Revisions Delete I’m able to duplicate products again.
]]>Hi, thank you for the nice plugin. I translated it to the Russian language.
Translation of Stable (latest release): Russian and
Translation of Development (trunk): Russian
How i can delete single revision? I cannot find it anywhere

]]>function bweb_wpsrd_add_post_types( $postTypes ){
$postTypes[] = 'project';
$postTypes[] = 'medewerker';
return $postTypes;

add_filter( 'wpsrd_post_types_list', 'bweb_wpsrd_add_post_types' );
added to functions.php but no controls to do Bulk Edit are to be seen in the backend. Please advise, thanks.
