The widget areas are completely gone when I have this installed in WordPress Version: 4.9.9

I’ve been asked to redo this site https://blackburnseminars.com/ – where Simple Sidebar works great. I have copied the site to a temporary development location here https://idwdesign.biz/blackburn_new/wordpress/ but I can’t get the menus to load. I could recreate them manually but there are a lot of them and then when finished and I make the live site point to this directory, I don’t want to have to manually redo them again.

I suspect I need to change something in the WP_OPTIONS.option_name .widget_simple_sidenav field but I have no idea what any of the values mean or what to change.

Can anyone tell me what I need to do to get the menus to show on the dev site?

i am using simple-sidebar-navigation on my site. I have one question . in my sidebar i added menu and sub-menu of the page. when that main-menu active that time only i have to see the sub-menu otherwise it will be hidden. is it possible?

Do you have some CSS examples that would allow submenus to flyout/popout from the main menu instead of being indented?

Using Simple Sidebar Navigation plugin with Vantage theme and SiteOrigin’s Page Builder is causing following errors: (1) after defining navigation menu Done button is not working and (2) Duplicate and Delete actions inside Page Builder row/column container is not working (although Edit action is working and launches Simple Sidebar Navigation plugin definition form). I’m using IE11 on Windows 8.1.

Hi. I LOVE this plugin!

I use it for left nav all throughout my site.

For strange reason, on one set of pages, the link always opens in a new window! Its very strange. I don’t want it to.

Everytime I try and save anything within wordpress, I get this error.

Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at /home/content/71/7784571/html/wp-content/plugins/simple-sidebar-navigation/settings/settings.php:175) in /home/content/71/7784571/html/wp-includes/pluggable.php on line 934

This error goes away when I deactivate the plugin, however, it is a brilliant plugin and I can’t live without it.

This is obviously something that is going to trouble the less tech savvy users.

Hi I am having an issue with the simple side nav widget. I have a 2 tier side nav, and I’m trying to style the Parent li (or a) tag of the current_page_item child li tag. (hopefully that made sense).

The current_page_item works fine, however, if you current page is a child page, then the parent pages class of (current_page_item) disappears and just reads page_item, which makes it hard to style differently.

Does anyone know of a way to add a custom class to the parent li tag??
