I can see a warning message and just wanted to check if this plugin works with the latest version of WordPress.
]]>This plugin looks great. It generates the @2x files perfectly and I’m just regenerating the thumbnails now. I just wanted to check if everything was okay because it hasn’t been tested or updated in such a long time.
]]>Hi there, I’m using this plugin and it seems to work like it should. It’s just one thing, when I enter the site for the first time it doesn’t recognise the bigger version for retina. I have to refresh the page to get it to work. Do you know why this is and what I can do to fix it?
Thanks in advance,
G
It removes the title and possibly description from the lightbox. The data never makes it to the DOM. I turned off all plugins except SLB and the title worked. Reactivating Simple WP Retina killed the title.
Versions:
WP 3.9.1
Simple WP Retina 1.1.1
Simple Lightbox 2.3.1
Thanks for this plugin, it’s great. Hope you can figure out what’s going on here.
]]>Something I’m not doing well. I upload a picture with double the resolution (2048x2300px), but if I see in a monitor without retina, the image not has the half (1024x1150px). For example: https://www.mirazoqui.com/portfolio/diseno-web-fotografia-francis/
]]>Hello!
First of all, thank you very much for this plugin, it’s working amazingly for me.
My only issue is that right now, there a few odd posts in my blog’s featured image thumbnail grid for which the thumbnail is not resizing properly. I’ve tried different images, publishing and unpublishing the post, regenerating the thumbnail and nothing works.
My blog: https://falcomueller.com/blog/
You can see that this is the case with the “Getting to Machu Picchu by Bus” post.
The only clue I can find is that when I inspect the thumbnail as an element, its class is “attachment-background@2x wp-post-image” instead of “attachment-background@2x wp-post-image attachment-background” as it is for all of the other post thumbs.
Anyone have an idea about how I could solve this issue?
(I’m also curious to know where the 2x files go when they are generated. Are they rendered on the fly every time a page is loaded?)
Thanks a lot ahead of time!
]]>First off, nice job on this plugin! Makes retina a no-brainer!
I tried this on a tiled background image, and it doesn’t seem to work. Does the plugin not work on tiled backgrounds, or am I doing something wrong?
Thanks!

]]>Hi,
I tried your plugin and i want to integrate it in my theme.
As i was working i found one problem. If we show full size image will break.
You need to add a new line to exit the loop when is full size.
On the function the_content, second foreach add:
if( in_array($value, array(‘size-full’)) ) continue 2;

]]>Hello, I downloaded the Simple Retina plugin for our website and I am a little confused as to uploading retina images. I have doubled the image size and added the @2x on the more HD images and still nothing. Could you help me on this please?
