I tried deactivating Simplest Galerry on WP 5.7 (got classic editor on) to see some change, but upon trying to reactivate it, I get the following error.
Error thrown
Call to undefined function sga_register_gallery_type()
There I decided trying to delete the plugin itself, but I get the following error:

In the linked page, I tried creating a simple gallery, made of images of different rectangular sizes.
But the layout changes depending on the side. Somewhat. ??
I’d expect for instance a 3*3 square made of 9 squares, with each rectangular image inserted inside each of these squares.

I have installed Simplest Gallery and followed the instructions, but I do not get a chance to decide how the gallery shall look like.
Before I began using WP I read that it should be very easy to use. I think it is extremely difficult and complicated to use and besides it is extremely slow to use.

Since WP5 introduction my galleries are not presented properly (the fancybox effect does not work no matter which settings I use)

When using the gallery specific jQuery method I get an out-of-memory exception and a white screen of death. I’m using WordPress 4.9.8-de_DE, PHP 7.2 and 256 MB of memory for PHP. I tried this with the themes twentysixteen and twentyseventeen and Simplest Gallery version 4.4. I get this error on two separate WP installations but hosted at the same server and thus the same PHP installation.
I’d be okay if this error falls under “unsupported” as there’s a clear warning that problems can arise. If more information (logs, debug prints) is wanted, I will happily try to gather the data. I’m a SW-developer though don’t know much PHP.

My thumbnails are always using the lowest/smallest images. On a large page, this looks horrible. Any suggestions? I’d rather not have to make my smallest thumbnails 500×500.

recently I secured my site with ssl.
In the chrome-console I now get a whole bunch of warnings associated with your plugin.
The jquery still refers to the http version of the site. This is just one of five examples:
Mixed Content: The page at ‘https://XXX.de/’ was loaded over HTTPS, but requested an insecure script ‘https://XXX.de/wp-content/plugins/simplest-gallery/fancybox/jquery.fancybox-1.3.4.js?ver=1.3.
How can I fix this without rebuilding the galleries? I am running the latest version of the plugin.

]]>previously i was using 24 template. there was the possibility to turn of caption under the image and keep cation overlay when hovering over the image.
i have been looking for some css to realize this but it seem that the “gallery style” option of the simplest plugin overrules what i try to do. Is there anybody that can point me in a direction ?

I love your plugin, because of its simplicity. My client needs to do galleries in an instant and all the other plugins make the process harder and confusing. So congratulations on an awesome plugin!
However, my galleries are not working on phones! The user clicks the image, and it shows in a new tab of the browser, and i wanted it to be like in the pc version, with a slide.
Is there any option to fix this?

Thank you for your amazing plugin. I’m using it on https://lilacjerusalemsuites.com/ however when I click on the image it opens up a fancy box where I can’t navigate to the next one, when I close this box there’s underneath another fancy box where I can navigate, I would like it to open right away to the correct box and not first closing the first box.

There is something I think should be mentioned.
After update from Simplest Gallery from 2.8 to 4.3 the fancybox/lightbox effect stopped working.
In Firefox the large image was shown centered with a dark background and in Google Chrome it just shows the image to the left top op the screen with a white background.
In both browsers there was no way of clicking through to the next image.
I was able to solve this by installing the addon Fancybox 2.
Hopefully this helps other users.
]]>I’m fiddeling a lot with CSS, and trying to get rid of “Image” in front of the the text overlay title in fancybox.
To this point, ive been doing it by going into the php file and commenting it out, but this gets overwritten every time you update the plugin.
Could you possibly remove it, or add a “translation box” to the plugin-settings? Im guessing this must be slightly frustrating for people who have sites in other languages than English as well. The easiest solution would maybe be to give it an ID/class, so we could disable it via CSS etc.

]]>On my site “www.richandcat.com” I have the plugin installed and working for 1 page on the site, but it isn’t working for the other 2 galleries. All galleries have been created and inserted into the page the same way, so I can’t figure out why they aren’t all working. I have deleted the pages, reuploaded the photos, and checked the code within the “text” option in the page edit screen.
Any ideas?
]]>I have a large gallery and all the images have captions in the wordpress media library. However, when the simplest lightbox comes up, it just says “image 1/25” or something like that.
Is there a way to use the captions from the media library in the lightbox? I have fancybox 2 installed.
