We’re using Infinite scrolling and the icons for share doesn’t load in the post loaded via AJAX.

The Shortcode DOES execute and generate the DIV, but the JS just doesn’t work on post loaded stuff. Is there any function we can execute to REFRESH or APPLY the share icon?

We’ve been using this plugin for a few years now and love it.
However we’re moving our site from http to https and couldn’t find an option or documentation on how to transfer the count of likes.

Any help with this would be really appreciated.

I’m using vertical sharing layout and I’ve set display the total share count on your website to true in advanced settings to true. But the count won’t display. I tested by sharing article myself but won’t work.

The CSS of your plugin have a silly mistake, due to which, it breaks the layout of most of the website.

Instead it should be:
div.os-share-counter-widget span, <strong>div.os-share-counter-widget div</strong>{vertical-align:bottom!important;}

Please fix this issue and let us know at your earliest. otherwise most of the developer will move to another plug-ins like this.

P.S. I can understand that this is a very small bug that happens due to your designer/developer team and can be easily fix. So, if possible please let us know the status of this issue.

I recognized that my js-console puts out two errors from opensocialshare.js:
‘window.webkitStorageInfo’ is deprecated. Please use ‘navigator.webkitTemporaryStorage’ or ‘navigator.webkitPersistentStorage’ instead.
and: ‘webkitIndexedDB’ is deprecated. Please use ‘indexedDB’ instead.

I think this should be updated soon, because my company uses your plugin on almost every website we’ve created.. ??

i tried the vertical sharing issue. I check the third or fourth design. I choose facebook and google plus..after saving the settings..only facebook is showing..i tried just choosing google+ option..after saving options all went blank again..please help

Hi to all,

when I use this plugin with shortcode in responsive (Android os) Pinterest doesn’t work.

I’ve tried both from only Pinterest share button and from more social button too.

Others works very well opening into another tab.

Hello there, thanks for the plugin –?looks great!

The WordPress site in question uses the Divi theme and its module to create the page elements.

When I click on the Social Share buttons to share any page, in particular Facebook, Twitter or Linkedin, the shared post includes the shortcode and not the excerpt or the Yoast SEO description for that page.

So it looks like:

WEBSITEDOMAIN.COM | BY AUTHOR NAME –> This displays correctly

I have also tried installing NGFB plugin to see if it solves the description for the page, but it doesn’t.

So after tried using Yoast, NGFB and setting the page’s excerpt manually, I think the issue may be with this plugin?

Looking forward to some ideas on how to get this fixed ??

I would like to be able to share posts on my FB page. However, when I click on the FB share button, the only option I have is to share on my personal timeline. Is there an option to choose where on FB I would like to share the post?

Hi, The share buttons are not visible in the IE 8 browser. There seems an JS error which says : SCRIPT438: Object doesn’t support property or method ‘getElementsByClassName’

Hi Guys,

I’m using the plugin for some time now and it does what it promises, but unfortunately after the update some features stopped doing just that.

The Twitter icon is huge (seems as there are two images where there should just be one). Took it out of the initial list, but it does the same in the pop-up. And other icons (facebook and mail) give the following error:

“Server error please try again later!! Internal server error. It is temporary! Please try again; or contact Social9 Team for support.”

This has been the case for a couple of days now. Any suggestions? The website is https://www.reizenin.net/.

Hi,

I installed the plugin and it worked fine for a while. Now the twitter button is not sharing on Twitter. The following error message is displayed ‘ Your message could not be sent.’ Tried it with different Twitter accounts but same result.

I’m adding an example of a page where the Twitter button does not work.
Can you please help with this issue?

I am using this plugin on a site (for a client).
On the accept installation, it’s working perfectly, on the live installation, nothing is shown, except the number of shares.

Can this have something to do with the fact that the live installation is https and the accept is not ?

I’ve been having trouble getting rid of some random white space below the footer on my website. I noticed that when I disabled the Simplified Social Share plugin, the white space disappeared. Before, when I was inspecting the page, this is what I saw at the bottom of every page: https://2.1m.yt/mOIm1Cfol.png (link to a screenshot).

I’m not sure what’s happening, could you please explain why those divs and that image tag could appear in the code? Are they generated by the plugin?

I like this plugin and I’d want to keep it, but I disabled it for now.

Have been using this plugin to manually add the social sharing to the bottom of several pages using the shortcode [LoginRadius_Share]

After updating today, the plugin turned itself off. I noticed the shortcode on a page, logged in and the plugin was deactivated. Now anywhere we were using the shortcode stopped working. Looking at the plugin settings it now says the shortcode is [Social9_Share]

Changing the shortcode to [Social9_Share] does in fact fix the problem but we’ve got hundreds of instances of manually added shortcodes all over the site and trying to manually replace them would be a nightmare.

Is the old shortcode [LoginRadius_Share] entirely depreciated? Really don’t want to spend hours looking for all the shortcode instances as it will be quicker to just use a different plugin.

The tracking pixel from xclusive.ly that mysteriously showed up a few days ago is adding an extra whitespace at the bottom of my footer.

This script has been added to the header:

This image is being added to all generated pages in the script section just before the “lrshare” divs.

This is the1 x 1 pixel image being added:

When I delete this image, the whitespace disappears.

I never added this image, nor did I sign up for anything from xclusiv.ly. I think this got added because I am a Login Radius Social Sharing client. (By the way, the Learn More link on that xclusiv.ly homepage does not work).

Please give me instructions on how to permanently delete this tracking pixel (or some other fix) so it doesn’t get added to the generated page.

Hello,

I’ve recently installed the Plugin and it works great. The only question / issue I have is Sharing to Twitter in the blog page. It looks like the permalink being shared on Twitter is correct when the pop-up shows up, but it grabs the name of the page instead of the title of the blog post. Is there a way to fix this where it pulls the title of the post? Also, it works fine on single posts.
