I think it is a great plugin and really useful, a pity it is not developed anymore!

When I click on the announcement bar at the top of the page, it shows the latest post not the info in the body of the announcement.

Can the background-color be changed? I would assume it could be done in by way of the plugin editor but not 100% sure where.

When viewing on an iPhone, the announcement bar is rather large and covers up the mobile menu – how can I reduce the size?

This is a great simple plugin. I have one suggestion for making it easier to use for website visitors. If a user clicks on the bar for more details and opens up the pop-up with the content, when they close the pop-up, the bar should automatically close too. Right now they have to click twice, once to close the pop-up and once to close the bar.

Also would love to be able to set dates for the bar to turn on/off automatically.
