I have a category that looks like this:
Using RSRS
-Main Screen
-Control Panel
-Login Screens
I however want Login Screens to appear at the top under Using RSRS. Every time I drag to reorder them it appears ok, but as soon as I refresh the page it’s back to the original position.
Is this an error? Perhaps I can go into the database where these are referenced and change it manually?
]]>When viewing a document, the next and previous links do not always match what actually comes next or previously.
An example is this page:
https://astralanguage.com/wordpress/docs/welcome/
Next should be “Installation in 7 Easy Steps”, but it is not…
Also, there should be no previous (it is the first document).
Please help!

]]>Hi,
Sidebar toggle does not working. I checked the source and realized that the docit.js function loaded before jquery.js
I received that error message at the console:
“Uncaught ReferenceError: jQuery is not defined”
How can i fix this?
Thanks.
]]>Hi. I’ve followed the video on how to setup and create the first page and lower level document. The page shows ok when the shortcode is added.
But when I select from the menu I get:
Not Found
The requested URL /wp/docs/this-is-my-first-doc-it was not found on this server.
I’m confused as I have followed the instructions. What am I doing wrong?
Kind Regards

]]>For some reason, certain subcategories give this error: Catchable fatal error: Object of class WP_Error could not be converted to string in /home2/slholt/public_html/wp-content/plugins/slick-doc-it/includes/di-functions.php on line 370
However, when the subcategory only, instead of the subcategory along with it’s parent, is selected, it works fine. This wouldn’t be a problem at all, but it creates some strange issues with the order of the documents since some of them are working correctly and some of them aren’t. Just wondering if this is a known error or if it’s something strange. Thank you!
]]>Hi guys, I think this will be perfect for sharing some of my guidebooks online.
A few questions, as this is not so clear and the demo does not show it:
– The menu/sidebar, can it easily be changed, i.e. made narrower?
– If so, will longer page titles wrap automatically (2 lines or even more?)
– Is the menu/sidebar an actual sidebar/widget? Will it be possible to add other widget below and/or another sidebar to the left and/or right of the content?
Thanks!
]]>I’m diggin the plugin so far, but I’m getting this fatal error on the individual document pages:
PHP Fatal error: Call to undefined function di_next_previous_post() in /Applications/MAMP/htdocs/wordpress/wp-content/plugins/slick-doc-it/includes/templates/docit-post-template.php on line 53
That function (di_next_previous_post) isn’t anywhere to be found in the plugin folder. Removing it fixed the problem, but I guess I’m missing out on adjacent post navigation ?? I’m using version 1.0.6.
Also, while I was in the logs I saw I’m getting the following error on each page:
PHP Warning: in_array() expects parameter 2 to be array, null given in /Applications/MAMP/htdocs/wordpress/wp-content/plugins/slick-doc-it/includes/di-shortcode.php on line 242
It’s not causing me any issues that I’ve noticed, but thought I should mention it here.
]]>Hey guys,
I’m getting an error on my Doc-It page and also no content only intro, can someone have a look and see what the problem is:
https://postimg.org/image/go55lgob9/
error = ( ! ) Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in C:\UwAmp\www\cryoserver\wp-content\plugins\slick-doc-it\includes\di-shortcode.php on line 380
Thanks.
]]>Hey guys, I’m trying to use the DocIt plugin but I seem to be stuck.
I do get my test intro on the page I put the shortcode but not the categories or underlying documents.
I also get an error on the page:
( ! ) Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in C:\UwAmp\www\cryoserver\wp-content\plugins\slick-doc-it\includes\di-shortcode.php on line 380
See full page screenshot:
]]>The plugin is really great, just what I was looking for.
There’s one problem though. Naming sub-categories in Russian causes an error when going to pages in those sub-categories:
“Catchable fatal error: Object of class WP_Error could not be converted to string in /usr/local/apache2/htdocsprod/romm/wordpress/wp-content/plugins/slick-doc-it/includes/di-functions.php on line 370“
What’s interesting is that when you go to the sub-category itself, there’s no error. Seems like it’s an issue with breadcrumbs.
So, when the breadcrumb ends in Russian, there’s no error. In my case breadcrumb looks like this when you go to a sub-category – “Wiki ? Тест”, where “Тест” is in Russian characters. And it works fine.
When there’s supposed to be some Russian in the middle of the breadcrumb it breaks. For example if you go to a page in “Тест” sub-category, there’s and error and an unfinished breadcrumb: “Wiki ?” when it’s supposed to look like “Wiki ? Тест ? Test”.
Help would be much appreciated.
]]>This looks like a really cool plugin!
I’d definitely be interested in the premium version but I noticed that the accordions do not open/close on ios7 safari.
Please let me know if you get this working, thanks!
