Today, I was able to remove 4 images on my home page to which a slider by Supsystic was installed (not Pro version). I have been able, within the last year to add a new image and put it into a position within the order. After clearing the cache and restarting my computer, I went in to add 4 new images. I see the images in the Media Library and when I choose them to add, briefly, on the right hand side, it shows they are being added, but nothing shows on my home page to reflect that. When I look at the slider itself, it still has the same number of images it had prior to trying to add 4 more. I also tried just adding 1 and that did not work either. WordPress says that plugin is up to date with version 1.8.6. I’ve tried everything. It seemed like back in June (maybe) there was a notification that this plug in would no longer be supported or it needed an update. Now it does not show that message and it doesn’t show there is an update available. A while back when others (including me) were having problems changing the order of the slider images, there seemed to be a fix. I was so glad to see that. Now, it seems there is a different problem.

I chose image but the image not add for the slider.

I installed this update and got an error to display on several of my pages where I have sliders added.

Is there a reason why it is doing this after the update? After disabling the plugin the error goes away and did not occur until this update.

I’m trying out your slider, Version 1.8.2. I’m using WordPress Version 5.8 in this web site: https://aliceinreferendumland.com/

No matter what I do, I cannot manually re-order the images using drag and drop.

I have 11 images so far. I installed them in the order I wanted, first to last and hit save.

The plugin then flipped them into the opposite order. Drag and drop has no effect in re-ordering the images back to where I want them.

BTW, this is not my first try. I had already installed the images, and was looking for a way to delete just one of them. The only “delete” button seemed to be at the top. So I clicked the radial button beside the image I wanted to remove and hit delete. It deleted the whole slider! Without a warning beforehand. Suggestion: add a warning, i.e. “Are you sure you want to delete the slider?”

Anyway, I would appreciate advice on how to put the image order back the way I want it without having to delete the slider all the time and start over.

Hello. I would like to move the title bar below the slide image. I have made the bar white, which helps, but the bar still cuts off part of the slide image. Is there some CSS I could use to position it below the slide?

I have been using this plugin for quite a long time and it was working perfectly. But for some time, none of the sliders seem to work. When i display the slider on front page, it works fine. But if i put the shortcode in side a post or page it doesnt work. However, I didn’t have this problem before. But suddenly the problems started. I have like 50 previous sliders which are not working now. Please tell me what can i do now?

PS: I tried deactivating all other plugins but the problem remains.

Hi, I’m already in contact with your gallery and translate plugin. This slider plugin also is connecting to external servers (cloudfare,google). According to the new General Data Protection Regulation of the European Union these outgoing connections are supposed to be illegal (without an agreement by the user).
Will you remove those connections from your plugin, so european citizens will be able to use your plugin legally?

After the latest WordPress update, none of my sliders seem to work. They show up normally at the dashboard menu, I can work on settings and everything and they even pop up normally at the previews. But when inserted into a post a blank space occupies the part of the page they are supposed to display at (a rather large area!). Any ideas as to what might me happening? I have already tried to troubleshoot by deactivating all my other plugins but have had no luck. (The link I am providing above is of a particular post using one of the sliders for your convenience)

The caption used to display along the bottom of the image but has now started to display along the top, which disrupts the integrity of the image a bit. I’m getting a warning message from Wordfence too that seems to be related to the plug in and some changes made to it (not that the warning means anything to me) all I can decide is that it probably isn’t good.

I made a couple of sliders, all working fine. But then, without changing anything the slider doesn’t show any pictures anymore. In web inspector I get dozens of error messages like SyntaxError: test for equality (==) mistyped as assignment (=)?

There is only one page affected with two different sliders on it.

I had the same problem as others: If you have more than 10 items in a slide, drag&drop reordering doesn’t work.

The problem lies in slider-by-subsystic/src/SupsysticSlider/Slider/assets/js/sorting.js
After line 20 in updatePosition() you treat JSON as a string (since $.JSONParse doesn’t work) and try to parse out the number after “index”:1234, but you only get the first digit instead of parsing to the comma to get the whole number.

Updating to version 1.7.1 caused the Slideshow Controls to disappear. The Slideshow Controls are enabled on the properties page. I’m using the BxSlider.

WP Theme: “Cryout Nirvana”. Adding the slider as widget on the right column, the numbers of the dots of the navigation appear as text (1,2,3…) ghostly on the main page (central column), at the end of the post(s). If you disable “Navigation” in the slider’s settings, you don’t see anything in the widget. No result in changing height.
