When I import my site pages: https://www.newsharoniowa.com/ into localhost for testing using WAMP the launch page will not load until I disable Slider by 10Web after disabling it, the page loads correctly. Why is that?

Hi I’m trying to hide the slider on the home page and another specific page. but still run opn all the rest. I’ve tried add this css but no avail. unsure i’m changing to the correct id and class.

Something seems to have changed. If I left click an image in the slider it goes to a page to login to wordpress!! How can I stop this.?? No option is obvious for me.

UPDATE: Found the setting. Have no idea how or why it would be set to go to WordPress to edit. BUT, I uncheck open in new window and delete the URL and save and it comes back. How can I disable this (feature?) totally?

We are going to this Support forum to ask for support and theres no answer. Is 10web enjoying making a fool of us? One can only wonder.

I asked about this more than two weeks ago, and no 10web is showing up. Worse yet. Others have been waiting even longer. Why call this support when it’s clearly not.

For some reason, every time I make a slideshow, the slideshow links to the edit page. Also for visitors who are not logged into WordPress.

Old slideshows, which did not have this flaw, do the same if updated. Even if I made no changes but just clicked the update button.

Anyone know what’s up with that?

I am trying to upload .webp images in the section of the “Accreditations & Awards” Slider on the website. WordPress allows the format but the plugin shows the following error please check the screenshot. Please Provide a Solution as soon as possible.

This plugin creates a post in its own post type at example.com/wds-slider/preview/.

This page is published, accessible to the public, and has been added to my site’s XML sitemap by The SEO Framework.

There doesn’t seem to be a method to delete this page, prevent its creation, or change its status to Draft. I consider this to be a bug. How can I remove this public-facing page?

The function get_slide_preview_post() is where the post is created.

Sinds mijn pagina is geupdated naar versie is 6.3.1 werkt deze niet meer. Ik kan geen pagina’s meer aanpassen/wijzigingen uploaden enz.
Als ik converteer naar Blocks, dan komt alle tekst door elkaar te staan.

Basically what’s in the title. When I try to edit a slideshow, the backend page loads for minutes. To make matters worse, when I disable this plugin, it leaves some exposed css on top of my main page.

Recently, I’ve noticed I can’t edit an existing slider, and cannot create a new one. In trying to do so, all I get is a screen with links for “Upgrade”, “User Guide”, and “Ask a question”.

According to the 10Web dashboard, we have Version 1.2.54 and it does not show any updates available.

Any idea what’s going on here?

I’ve recently come across an issue with the 10Web Slider. It seems the first slide does not show up, or only the background image layer shows up without additional layers. Im using it with WP-Optimize, however disabling it didnt seem to do the trick so it seems to be a plugin issue. I’m unsure if its related but I’m getting this message in the console:

So you just lost me as a potential customer b/c even though you’ve updated your plugin, you didn’t even bother to TELL WP that you tested it, assuming that you even tested it.

And you only offer support on your site, not even here.

Hello, is there a way to make a slider responsive on smartphone using a fixed background? It seems that the only way it works on the phone is to turn this feature off. I really want a fixed background. For now, I’m hiding the slider because it’s way too big. Is there a way to make it responsive with the fixed background?

It is not possible to change the color of the navigation buttons.

It is alway black not as expected to be (FFFFFF) like in the Default slider.

the control to change is always gayed out.

I used the latest version of the plugin 1.2.53

I had an issue showing some images http and not secure on my site. I fixed all except 3 which I tracked down to this slider viewing page source.

Where can I find this file to edit the few http: instances to https:? OR, is there another easy way to fix this? There are a dozen or more images that ARE https:, just a few like this that are not.

How do I get a new free version that fixes the “Call to undefined function create_function()”? under PHP 8 for slider_wd?

I had to rollback the last update cause I could no longer change my slides in Slider. The icons to change the image or remove the slide where gone.

My dashboard shows a new version 1.2.51 but checking what is new shows no information. I always prefer to see what is new before updating and possibly breaking something that is working. Where can i find “what’s new” on this update?

Other parts are loaded, the slider is still loading, the loading animation turns around for several seconds

I have the slider above on my home page. I ran an SEO plugin and it says the slider is using H1 tags for the text on each slide and there are 4 slides. They recommend I convert these tags to H2 so only the page title uses an H1 tag as multiple H1 tags on the same page hurts my search engine performance. What I don’t know is how to do this. If you could assume any instruction you’d be giving would be to the equivalent of a 5 year old that would be appreciated.

I used your demo site. I do some testing. But I found that some of the option you provided is quite limited.
Here are some of the example
1. The bullets can only be placed on top or bottom. However, I want it to put somewhere on the bottom left. There may be some scrollbar for adjusting the position would be very helpful.
2. For the text layer, in the “text” area, user cannot input html tag making the display very limited.

Moreover, I hope that you can put the slide on the center. Two slides on the left and right respectively with transparency selected. The two slides only show part of them, let’s say half of it. (Hope you understand)
