I’ve just downloaded the Pro version and started importing my pictures but it’s rotating every one of them through 90 degree anti-clockwise! I can’t seem to see a reason for this, any ideas anyone………………..

After the installation of the last version of wordpress the plugin doesn’t work anymore. The page seems to load something but the gallery never appears! I really need to know what is going on cause my website is turning upside down.
Am I supposed to install the new satellite gallery or what?

Hi,
does anyone have a gallery with 80+ pictures? I have one, and the page loads mor tha 5 seconds for the slideshow. If I disable it, the page speed is under 1 second?
Is there anything I can do to improve the slideshow loading time?

Hi – My client likes the ease of the caption feature, but would prefer if it was static and not sliding up/down. Is it possible to just have the caption appear and fade with the slide?

I have slideshow gallery pro and its working fine, I am using multiple gallerys and embeddeding into the php so I Can change individual pararamters which is working, but I don’t know what the shortcode would be to have control over the speed times between slides as I want it different on some pages.

My images reside in a directory such as wp-content/images/112011 for each month of several years.

Can I create a gallery that pulls the images from these directories?

The images do not show in the native wordpress media library gallery.

If the plugin does not do this natively would you be willing to customize it for my instance?

I installed Slideshow Gallery Pro on this site and I the gallery does not appear. An error comes up that says “UnCaught ReferenceError: tid” and it appears in the slideshow’s script.

Not sure if it’s an issue with the theme or plugin.

I am using the pro version on a couple sites and have just discovered a little bug. When viewing slideshows on Safari 5.1 running OSX 10.7 (Lion) the top of the image shows only on the bottom half of the frame. There is no problem on Safari 5.1 running OSX 10.6.8 (Snow Leopard). My source says that the problem is with the renderer being used, webkit, as it shows up on his Linux machine using Chromium 14/Chrome 15.

I have a slideshow where I put a link to a blog post in the description field of each slide.

I also use the “Link To” field for users to pop-up a larger version of the image directly in their browser.

For some reason, the description link always overrides the Link To url. If I remove the link in the description field then the Link To url functions as normal.

Any idea how to fix this? Thanks.

yes, yes I know. a slideshow with one or two images isn’t a slideshow. However, I am using slideshow gallery pro to show images of specific projects on individual pages for a client. Each project is set up as an individual post and the slideshow is hard-coded into the singlepost.php document for the theme (Neuro Pro). I would like for each post to have a consistent look and the slideshow is helping with that. I don’t know php and don’t want to irritate the developer that has helped me with this site so far, since he is also my spouse-alternative. ??
Some of the project pages (posts) have only one or two images associated with them. I need the code to tell the plugin to:

1.not show thumbnails if there are two or fewer images on the post and
2. not advance the slideshow automatically if there is only one image

Hi, I’m having trouble getting the links to work, they keep doing a “Next Image” instead of going to the url I have added to each,

settings:
Open Images in…: no link
Page Link Target: current
Use Caption Field as a Link?: no

all slides have a url added.

Hey there,

I’m using the pro version of the software and I’m using it to display some comics, some of which are fairly long vertical images.

When you get down to the bottom and click to go to the next image, it loads it up great but the browser stays right where it is, sometimes ruining the last panel of story for the reader, and then the viewer has to scroll all the way back up to start from the top.

I know this is expected behavior, but is there any way to add some javascript to force the viewer back to the top of the screen when they click for the next image?

Hi, I’m running WP 3.2.1 and after updatet to Slideshow Gallery Pro v 2.0.1, I’m not seeing the gallery any more on the a php file, as described on the installation:

I’m using this plugin but as i have a black frame around all my images i have the same frame on the thumbnails which looks pretty bad! Is there a way to crop this frame from the thumbnails?

I was notified by my hosting provider (Dreamhost) that one of my WP installs had been (possibly) compromised. The file of concern was ../wp-content/uploads/slideshow-gallery-pro/oldtemp.php, which did have weird permissions and ownership.

Not to be alarmist or anything, but if you are using this plugin, you might want to check your setup and see if that file is a problem for you.

After installing this plugin, nothing displays. Checking the console in Firebug shows the following errors:

There is no ‘pro’ folder in this plugins installation. Thinking it was a problem when I installed it, I downloaded the plugin and that folder is missing from the zip file too.

Too bad, this looked like a promising plugin.

When I view a slideshow in Google Chrome (any slideshow, including the example on the author’s page), the first cycle through looks normal, but subsequent cycles have the images shifted down (so only the top half appears, in the bottom half of the image window).

In addition, if I open a page with a slideshow in Chrome, minimize or background the window and do something else, and then go back to the slideshow window, the slides cycle through very rapidly, as if “catching up” to the cycle timing.

Everything seems to work normally in Firefox and IE, and until recently (maybe a week ago), everything worked in Chrome as well. I’m using Chrome 13.0.782.112 m in Windows Vista, and WordPress 3.2.1. After some Google searching and browsing the author’s page, it seems like a common issue, but there’s no thread here yet. Is there any ETA on when this might be resolved?

I’m currently using Slideshow Gallery2, which, unlink all other slideshow plugins, satisfies all my necessities.
I’m considering upgrading to Slideshow Gallery Pro and also making a donation, since this plugin fits my needs so well. However, I need to display the images from the slideshow in random order. If this is not an available feature, I am wiling to implement it myself, since I’m an experienced programmer. But I would need some overall guidance at the beginning. Will you be willing to guide me?

Automatic upgrade doesn’t work at all – it seems to delete the plugin without installing it. And once I upgraded via FTP my layout styles for the slideshows were broken – the first, non-resized image was displayed with no slideshow buttons.
