I’m having a problem with a gallery or the slides it contains.

The slideshow is not displayed with slides! Without slides the correct one is displayed.

How can I solve the problem? Is this a “??ü or ??ü” problem?

The plugin is current. Why does it show an update ico?

My client is using 1.1.1.

This is happening on several sites in our multi-site installation, like https://macdermotth.academic.wlu.edu/. The slideshow should appear on https://macdermotth.academic.wlu.edu/post-me/.

We recently updated the pHp to 7.3.7 and are using WP 5.2.2. Any ideas?

Nevermind… I think I figured this out.

I am using wordpress 4.1.25 and have php5.6 on the server.
Recently my slideshows gallery stopped working. I reinstalled the plugin, and it is saying I have a fatal error when i try to activate it.
“Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a?fatal error.”
Currently all you see on the website is [tribulant_slideshow gallery_id=”17″].

I am not sure what to do?

I try to use Slideshow within a shortcode block with Gutenberg, because that seems to be the only way it works at all. But then the output is garbled as you can see in this picture. Is there a way to fix that or will Slideshow not work with Gutenberg?

What can I do to get this solved?

These errors are displaying in the head of my site admin.
The link I provided is a link to a blog post with the most recent Slideshow Gallery.

I found after several page refreshes the following:
– The slides did not autoadvance. (AutoSLide and Always Auto are both set to Yes)
– The slides would advance and reverse manually to a point
– When slides stopped advancing forward or back at some point it would stop and the console would display a 404 for the image expected per the arrow click.
– If the slides were manually advanced backwards, the auto-slide would engage.

I don’t know if these observations are helpful or not.

Hi!

In one of the sites I work on, I noticed the WP_DEBUG and WP_DEBUG_DISPLAY constants were not being respected.

I found the cause in this plugin, as it defines its own method to decide wether to display or hide errors: https://plugins.trac.www.ads-software.com/browser/slideshow-gallery/trunk/slideshow-gallery-plugin.php#L87

Can this piece of code be removed and instead rely on the WP_DEBUG constants? Or is there a hook I can use to prevent this piece of code from running?

I’ve always been able to re-order slides with your plugin but in the last 3 days, suddenly there seems to be a bug. Whenever I click Order Slides, i get a new page, with about 10 cascading thumbnails, but no ability to do any re-ordering. Seems like the page is just stuck.

Also would be great if you could add a per gallery feature that would allow me to select Random Order, despite any previous order.

On my testpage it should be display some slides, but the console says “tid is not defined”

My difficulty is that I need to do some debugging on my site and this is getting in the way. I’d rather not start editing / patching plugin files if possible.

All backend slides are there, but at frontend it says, “No slides are available.”

So I recently migrated a wordpress installation over to another host. When I did I noticed two messages at the top of my admin panel:
“Uploads folder named “slideshow-gallery” cannot be created inside “wp-content/uploads/”
and
“Slideshow cache folder “cache” for resizing images cannot be created inside “wp-content/uploads/slideshow-gallery/””

Permissions are fine and I cannot figure out what the problem is. The site is temporarily being hosted at https://198.46.93.109/~friendsofsheba

Also, I tried to login and use your support forums on your site but neither the Faceboo nor the Google auth tokens seemed to work.

I cannot make changes to some of the configurations for slideshows. For example, I cannot change the Auto Speed or Transition Speed. There are just black circles with numbers in them indicating speed, but they can’t be changed (I’ve tried).

Any ideas why I can’t change these?

Also, is there a way for the plugin to fit the image to the slideshow area instead of crop?

I’ve been changing slider settings but I can solve how to have both vertical and horizontal images in the same proportions.

With default width 1000 and height 500, vertical images are cropped. If I increase custom height, horizontal images are cropped. With auto height, vertical images are too big. I’ve tried every combination with no succeed.

So how to have a slider with same size for vertical and horizontal images but they auto adapt so they don’t get cropped

Without Slideshow Gallery enabled, the Yoast SEO redirection dropdown shows like this:

Once Slideshow Gallery is enabled, it seems to conflict and no longer show the dropdown (altho you can see it for a split second during loading):

How can this conflict be resolved?
This is with the latest version of Yoast plugin.

If I put more than one gallery at the same page, at the top right corner it shows wrong total number of images of the current gallery. Instead it shows total number of images from all the galleries I’ve opened. For example, I put 3 galleries at the same page and every includes 5 photos. When I open one of them I can see “image 1 of 5”. When I open the next one I can see “image 1 of 10”, the third one – “image 1 of 15” etc…
