I have 3 questions:

1. How to enable the Smart Docs Sidebar to be sticky ?

I use Kadence theme and have enabled sticky sidebar, but I guess it does not get applied to the Smart Docs Sidebar, but I can see on your Demo site the Smart Docs Sidebar is made sticky. How can I do the same ?

2. Breadcrumb changes when not using the standard template

When not using the standard themplate the breadcrumb shows

Home / Smart Docs / Document title

So its missing the category, while when the built in template is used it shows correctly as

Smart Docs Base Page / Category / Document title

Can you change it, so it shows

Home / Smart Docs Base Page / Category / Document title

3. Shortcodes in Gutenberg editor

There are “only” 2 shortcodes:

[smartdocs_categories]
[smartdocs_search]

But to be able to recreate the complete Doc single page, its necessary to also have shortcodes for

Right now the plugin renders its content quite badly in themes that use Full Site Editing capability added to WordPress since version 5.9. For example, SmartDocs completely ignores globally selected header and footer, content width, etc. of the theme.

It’s literally impossible to use it as the whole design on docs pages breaks apart.

Hi, we are using your plugin to create policies and procedures and employee handbook etc. We would like to have the whole Docs system either private or password protected.

How do we go about doing this?

Trying to find a way to set the document archive page as the homepage. Tried to set the homepage in WordPress options (Settings > Reading > Homepage = docs) but that doesn’t work. Entire website is dedicated and used as a knowledge base, so having the homepage be the document archive (with list of categories and articles) is preferred. Similar to this page: https://wpsmartdocs.com/docs/ … but would actually be at: https://wpsmartdocs.com/

I’ve configured the settings plugin for option: Smart Docs (active) and posts and pages (desactive), but in the box search live when I type any word show ALL the posts of site in the search. In that settings it not should shows only articles related the smart docs?

When I try to edit a doc post with elementor, I always have the error that elementor cannot find content (the_content function etc….)
Could you please confirm that your plugin is compatible with elementor ?
