Hi all. When someone submits a completed form on the site, the wheel just spins and the form doesn’t submit. When I try and save updates to the form in the back end, I get the same thing. Anyone know how to fix this?

Also is there a progress bar, but I would be great to have a bar with the percent progress. Is that an option? Maybe with a CSS Code?

Hello, i created a form and is working great but i will like to know if there is any way to save the customer info into a database like name, address, phone, email so when the customer return and star typin the name it will pull the data

I am not received email notifications when a client registers, using the form.

I’m in the process of deciding whether to upgrade my wordpress site from PHP 7.4 to version 8.x. To help me decide, I installed a plugin called PHP Compatibility Checker (from WPEngine), and to my shock and surprise, the tool identified SmartForms as being non-standards compliant with every version of PHP from 5.6 and up. Surely this cannot be accurate, as I have been using SmartForms for years (paid product, but my support agreement has expired). I would really like an explanation of why the compatibility checker (from a reputable vendor) is flagging SmartForms as non-compliant.

how to add free reCAPTCHA v3 to smart form? i have seen the 40$ (!!!) addon. i dont think this should be a payed service (i have a payed version of smart form)

All the Smart Forms on our website are no more rendering. It looks like the plugin was updated 2 days ago. The link provided should display two forms on the page: one on the top for a form to join our membership and one toward the bottom to donate. The plugin page works — I can create/edit forms, and the preview works too. I don’t see any errors in the logs. In the page source, I see the form container DIV and then scripts. But I don’t see the form itself (the form block that contains fields, button, etc.).

I cleared cache, tried different browsers. Same issue.

I know that the forms were working on 3/13/24 9:55AM CST – date of last submission I received.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Dear Sir Madam,

We are experiencing a strange issue where any extension with capital characters E.G. JPEG, PNG is not recognized while using the allowed Extensions field settings in smartforms under upload button type.

We cleared all cache and can confirm that works because we added ,.jpg to the field and it before was not accepted while after cache clean it worked. The server also allows .PNG as we tested with a different contactform plugin Contactform 7 and there it works.

Hello, is it possible to add end-to-end encryption to your Smart Forms?

Please can you add an extra column to the Entries csv export for the Entry Id number.

Hi, i’ve created a form which has been in use for several years now.

However I want to add a second email address for the form content to go to and it just won’t work. It only ever sends the email notification to the original email and not the additional one.

I’ve removed both email addresses and added them again, no change.

I’ve cloned the form, deleted the website cache, no change.

On another similar website, i’ve done the exact same thing and it works – i.e. notification emails get sent to two email addresses, but with one website, it will only ever send to one email address.

Is there a way to hide the labels in a form? I have a small form, just for newsletter signups (2 lines – name and email). The placeholder/description in the field already shows what the field is for so I don’t really need the label as it just adds another line. Can you hide the label?

I bought Smart Forms about two years ago. I use it for simple forms where people can register for events. I made several forms with a simple repeater, where the users choose from 2 or 3 options and then enter a number of participants. Like this:

Members (￥3,500) 2 ￥7,000
Guests(￥4,500) 1 ￥4,500

Total ￥11,500

Well that is what the form should look like. I constantly get forms where the total is wrong (maybe ￥0, or just some random number). This happens 5 times out of 10.

I asked about this 2 years ago when I bought it. At the time I asked RedNao for a feature to allow me to edit forms (which he graciously added), so I can fix these forms. But I find myself editing these forms all the time, and of course my users all get confirmation emails with wrong totals.

It’s been two years. Any chance this will ever be fixed?

We are using the free version, where or can I set character limitations on the Address1 and Address2 field? We are using Smart Forms for our international customers and their addresses is long.

Several forms suffer from a bug where field that aren’t required are invalidly marked as required. Some of the forms affected stopped working entirely, can’t be submitted or fields are blocked from entering data into.

Upon recent discovery, it has come to my attention that the code used in the forms of this application is inadvertently disclosing my profile username and email address. This may come as a disappointment to those, like myself, who have opted to display a different public name (on posts and pages) instead of the default username, and have taken additional measures to hide their username from search engines through the use of plugins. Unfortunately, this plugin allows users to easily uncover this information through a simple review of the Page Source. Furthermore, if you have chosen to keep your profile email private and use a separate email for forms, this plugin also inadvertently exposes that private email address. As an individual who has paid for an upgraded version of this app in the past, I am dismayed to learn that my username and profile email have been leaked through the code of this plugin for an extended period of time. ?? Thank you for your attention to this matter.

When I upgraded my servers to run PHP 8 or PHP 8.1 the Smart Forms throws an error stating it’s unable to send the form. I did numerous testing and was able to make the Smart Forms submit only when I rolled the PHP back to 7.4. Please release a patch to fix this issue as soon as possible. Thanks

After submitting a form there wil be sent a email with de submitted form as a attachment tot the mail.

The format of de pdf is a table with title field – form field.
When a multi line form field is filled in some of the text is not visible because the text is outside the borders of de pdf. Some of the text is missing.

Where can it go wrong? nothing happening when changing the size of the table. it looks it have no potency on the pdf

The PDF add-on makes all forms that include a PFD unable to continue. After the 6.1.1 update.

So, the forms pretty much stop working as the last step in any form with PDF′s just gray marks the last step that will send in the form and stops doing nothing after you click it.

Want to upgrade my version to pro. How do I pay the $10 difference and get pro?

I have set up a contact form and set the email to the client’s email, so they receive the submission, but for some reason I am also receiving the form submissions even though my email address is not listed in the form.

I have been using the File Upload Extension for several years. Recently, when I tried to upgrade the PHP version for my site from 7.4 to 8.0, I received the message “A critical error has occurred on this website” with no other explanation. After some searching on the issue, I enabled the WP_Debug environment. The results of this action caused the debug.log file to be filled with MANY lines all similar to the following:

It appears that _ATTAHCMENTS_ is a mis-spelling? Should it be _ATTACHMENTS_? or is there some other problem? Do you have a version that addresses this issue?

Hi, I want to create a form where the user can select from the radio button then a text area will appear and the label of the text area will be the text from the choice he selected is it possible?

I’ve used Smart Forms for years with no problems, however today I have a big problem. I have a long form with many required fields, and the tab order is way off. It does the first few fields properly and then goes to the end (which is a signature field) bypassing many fields (all required). Granted, you can scroll up and do the missing fields, but any tab sends you right back to the end. Is there a way to set tab order or what happened??

We have the Pro version. No when editing our forms, we’re being told that the features aren’t supported and we need to go Pro. When we try to enter our license again, it just gives a curl error.

Great plugin. One thing I think is needed is additional setting added in Entries tab that allows user to set up predefined export time of all data or selected timeframe i.e. weekly export all form entries as csv. Wonder if this can be done. I know from entry can be sent after submit but I talking about multiple data export. Cheers

I tried finding in documentation. In “After Submit” email section of a form I have a table. Is there way to change background color of a cell depending on value in cell? i.e. Yes = background color Green and No is Red.
