]]>Hello, ever since I enabled automatic linking feature a portion of text, from the article’s introduction , is displaying at the top of your webpage, above the main headline. This is only occurring on blog posts where the first paragraph contains a clickable link. What solutions are available to correct this issue? It don’t seem like there’s an option to delay the insertion of links until after the page loads or Exclude the first paragraph from automatic linking in the plugin’s settings.

I don’t know if the problem is on your side or theirs, but as soon as I activate Photo Review, select2 conflicts and does not allow me to click to type. This use case requires the use of the meta field as the default post title isn’t what i’d like in the SEO title.

]]>I started using SmartCrawl on one of my sites recently, and up until this morning was very happy with it. However, I’m now getting randomly logged out of the site, and it’s happening a lot. Sometimes when I go to the Posts list, sometimes when I try to save a Draft post, and sometimes when I’m not doing anything at all.
So I followed the usual WordPress troubleshooting process, deactivating plugins until the problem went away. And the problem goes away when I deactivate SmartCrawl. Re-enabling SmartCrawl causes the problem to return. I’m willing to believe that this is not actually a bug in SmartCrawl, but just a compatibility issue with another plugin, but for now, I have no choice but to return to the setup I used before SmartCrawl.
Note: I understand that experiencing repeated WordPress logouts usually points to a cookie problem. But I cleared my browser cache and all site cookies, and the problem remained.
Is anyone else seeing this problem? Any ideas?

I love your plugin and that’s why I use it on all the websites I create!
However, for a few days now, I have been facing a serious problem which I cannot solve.
I thought it’s appropriate to inform you because it is very likely that other users are facing the same problem.
On the websites where I have WPML installed so that the content is also available in other languages, SmartCrawl has been causing a problem for a few days now, and it is not possible to change from one language to another. This only happens on the home page of each webpage.
I tried many ways to solve it, but failed.
When I disable SmartCrawl then the problem is solved immediately. But when SmartCrawl is activated, then switching the language on the home page is impossible.
Please look into this issue as I’m sure you realize how serious it is.

]]>We have the SmartCrawl Pro installed on Quenzel.com. We got a notice that a keyword focus was being used on other pages, but it doesn’t tell us which ones. (We are trying to get all the boxes checked green – but can’t get this one because we don’t know where the duplicates are.)

I recently switched from Yoast SEO to SmartCrawl and imported the Yoast settings through the setup wizard. When I view my sitemaps through the plugin, I notice that there may be duplicates.
Within the plugin, if I click to view the sitemaps it takes me here. Within that page, there are three sitemaps – each has a “1” at the end of the URL. Thinking that was odd, I changed the URL to remove the “1” to see where it would resolve. At that page, I can see there is another sitemap that is slightly different. Here’s one example: page sitemap with “1” in the URL, compared to page sitemap without “1” in the URL.
I assume having two sets of sitemaps can’t be good for the site’s SEO. How can I resolve this duplication?

I’ve found WordPress to have terrible breadcrumbs in general (they always put the homepage at the top and ignore the current page and other such weirdness) and so I was pleased to see the feature here with all the options.
But now I’ve come to try it out, it’s also not quite right.
All I need is:
Top-level page (not homepage) > Post title.
But what I’m getting is:
Top-level page > Post category > Post title.
And because my page name is the same as my category name and I only have one category, the actual output looks like this:
Locations > Locations > Location title
I was using the Astra breadcrumb feature which shows:
Home > Locations > Location title
That’s good, but it doesn’t let me hide the home link.
So the suggestion for SmartCrawl is to be able to optionally hide the page name and the categories from the breadcrumb, much like you already provide the option to hide/show the homepage and the post title.
Alternatively, a template field for the full breadcrumb trail would be great. Then one could just create whatever sequence one wants.
Just a suggestion in any case. I’ll carry on with the Astra one for now as it’s just a little closer to what I need.

Hi, I am using the free Generatepress theme and trying to get ��Breadcrumbs�� from WPMU DEV plug-in to work. I also have the ��Child Theme�� from Generate Press.
In the Child Theme ��Functions.php, I have this code from WPMU DEV:

]]>My SEO meta title keeps changing to undefined for %%title%%, and meta description isn��t displayed at all in the Google search result preview on posts and pages. The fields still seem to have the correct data, but it just isn��t showing properly in the preview. I have noticed this happening for certain built in variables for these fields. Every time I enter the editor (Gutenberg) to modify a page or a post, I have to be sure to scroll to the bottom and make a small modification to both of these fields (usually just enter a space at the end, and then erase it) in order for the meta preview to not say ��undefined�� for the title, and just blank for the description.
For example, on one of my posts I have the title set to %%title%% %%sep%% %%sitename%% and it shows ��undefined | You Could Automate That�� in the preview. The description is set to %%excerpt%%, and it shows no description in the preview.

I’m using Smart Crawl as my SEO plugin, as well as GN Publisher as my google news optimized feed generator.
I even had opened a support thread with GN Publisher guys about this issue: (https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/my-feeds-are-being-generated-with-wrong-timezone/)
Shortening the situation: We believe google news may be retrieving wrong publish time for my posts because of the schema tags. Guys at GN suggested me to add an offset at my schema “datePublished” property, to see if this can correct the issue. Would that be possible?
I have another website, https://fup.org.br that is on google news as well, using both smartcrawl and GN publisher, and have no problems with incorrect timezone.
