My tech blog blog.microlinux.fr is running on WordPress with the free Hestia theme. The Microlinux company’s logo shows in the upper left corner of the blog.

In the past I’ve used the SMNTCS Custom Link plugin to make the logo point to https://www.microlinux.fr (my company). This worked for some time.

Unfortunately the plugin has stopped working and shows some erratic behavior now. For example, it works sometimes when I activate the Open in New Window option… but only sometimes.

Any suggestions ?

This plugin doesn’t seem to work with it.
Logo’s URL is not changed, but the title of my site below the custom logo works instead of it.

This plugin is working for the logo when in desktop mode, but, not in mobile. It’s the same logo for both.

Hi, I see the option to change the logo link but my changes don’t seem to take effect. This was an issue before I updated Divi and remains so after the update.

Please note that adding support for a Themeforest.net theme is more complicated than for a www.ads-software.com theme. To test the implementation, I need access to the theme itself. To get access for testing purposes, I need to contact the corresponding theme developer.

There are numerous sites on the internet that allow downloading premium themes for free. The themes on these sites are often tempered and contain malicious code. Therefore, I can only accept the theme from the theme developer itself. In case the theme developer is not willing to offer a license for testing purposes, I won’t be able to add support for this specific theme.

Please add support for the Aardvark theme to your plugin. Thanks!

It is shown in the menu, but not responsive or working when a custom url is typed in.

I installed the plugin and while I was able to enter a custom URL in the Customize screen, it isn’t working. I’m guessing it’s not compatible with our theme. Could you add compatibility with the Gutentype theme please? ??

Astoundify has a theme called Listify and the plugin doesn’t work with it. Thanks.

I’m using XI Portfolio theme, witch is a free theme from the WP pool. I wish to change the logo url of wordpress (W) and found this plugin! But unfortunately it doesn’t work.
I can see the tab on the Customize page, but the logo won’t change.

Hi, I’m trying to make the WP-site’s logo link to the (non-WP) site at the domain root.
e.g: the site is at mydomain.co.uk/delivery I’d like its logo to point to mydomain.co.uk/

The plugin isn’t working with the Composer Theme (from ThemeForest), but I can create a Child theme and add the necessary PHP code into it (or amend the plugin’s PHP) to fix it.

Can you let me know what lines would need editing please?

Hi there!

We’ve been using this plugin for a while and it’s been working great so far… until recently.

We noticed that when we remove the logo in our blog the plugin works again, and the link behind the text points to the right URL. But as soon as we add our logo back (top left) the plugin stops working.

We’re using Twenty Twenty theme with the latest version of WordPress (5.4). Our theme is not custom or anything (fresh install).

Hey, we’ve tried to install this plugin in our wordpress subfolder and it worked for a couple of days, but stopped working after an update. Is this plugin supposed to be used still? Is there a change to get support?

i am currently using the fabify theme and this plugin works well to allocate a custom url to the logo on the frontpage of my website.

Problem: The plugin provides the option “open link in new window.” however even when i deactivate the check box, the custom link continues to open in a new window.

Please help fix this bug. I really find the plugin lite und practical but this bug is really annoying.
