Hi,
We cannot get the Purchase event to fire with the plugin. While all other events seem to work just fine, the purchase event at checkout does not fire and I don’t see it in fired in the Snap Pixel Helper. I’ve spoken with a developer about this, and he suggested to manually add the purchase event on the thank you checkout page. But we couldn’t find the specific page for checkout with our current theme: Astra.
I hope you can help us with this.
]]>Hi
Plugin is installed and configured but only displaying with users connected. Is it normal ?
Hi,
We have installed this plugin and we have a query regarding the “Add Cart” script. From the product page if we select two quantity of a product and click on the add to cart button then the add to cart event fire but it shows the price of a single quantity.
Our test site URL is https://dev.geekgearbox.com/product/unforgivable-curses-t-shirt/
Could you please confirm whether is it correct or it needs to show price according to quantity added?
Example: Product A price = 12
If we select 2 quantity?then the price becomes 12X2 = 24
So which price (12 or 24) should be shown on the Add Cart event?
Hello,
I cannot get the events to work on my website. The only thing i can track is “page_view”. How come?
]]>Hello, I installed the plug-in but it does not work with woocommerce. After verification with snap pixel helper the only event tracked is pageview, no pixel detected on the store or the product pages. On all pages the only event tracked is pageview. I have tried everything. Thanks for your help guys, it’s important for me ??
]]>Hi,
We’re still having issues with the pixel not sending the correct item_id and item_group_id depending on the event for variable products.
Currently when we view a variable product page it is sending the item_group_id as the item_id, whereas it should just send it as the item_group_id so we can match it correctly within the catalog.
When we add a variation to the cart it should send the item_id of that variation, but instead it’s sending the item_group_id as the item_id.
E.g. we have a variable product with item_group_id 19661. When viewing the product page it’s showing the item_id as 19661 within the snap pixel helper which doesn’t match in our catalog because 19661 doesn’t exist as an item_id since it’s an item_group_id, and when adding a variation to cart it’s still showing 19661 as the item_id but it should change to be the variation item_id which in this example should be 19663.
Most of the time it’s not matching correctly because of the above.
Can you please fix this issue?
Thanks.
]]>I have installed the plugin, entered in all the information like my pixel id and email. I used the chrome extension to check if pixel is detected and it is. On snapchat its still not detected. Is there something on my end i am doing wrong? Or does it take a few hours for it to detect on snapchats ads platform. Thank you Hassan
]]>Hi,
We’re seeing two issues.
1. The PAGE VIEW event doesn’t send the Product ID in the pixel
2. The ADD TO CART event sends the Item Group ID (parent ID), not the Product ID (child ID) for a product with variations. If we try a product that doesn’t have any variations then the Item ID field is blank.
Thanks,
Jaylon
This pixel is working so great, thank you!
However, the pixel is not sending the ProductID information in the snapchat pixel. Is this coming in a future release?
]]>Hi Hasan,
there’s a problem with integration with woocomerce events. product page not send the product event, add to cart work but checkout no… is it somthing you can help?
]]>What should be added here (in Snapchat Pixel User Email)?
I believe its a dynamic code like “customer.email”, would that work?
Awesome plugin btw. Alot of potential so good luck!
Edit: I added {{customer.email}} in this field and it seems to work, please confirm if this is the correct way to do it.
]]>Hi Hassan,
Snap Pixel plugin clashes with the Cartflows plugin on Checkout, and the checkout doesn’t work (customer cannot choose a variation and purchase).
Can you somehow make it work together? Thanks!
]]>Thank you for creating this plugin. It works fine, AddToCart events are being measured etc. The problem is that conversions are not being reported. Do I have to configure anything to get this to work? I have ticked all boxes in the plugin settings.
]]>redirection it affect website speed. please fix or give me a solution
]]>Hi,
Its nice to see that some one developed Snap pixel implementation plugin ??
I found out some issues with it. Since we do not use standard URL slugs for checkout/cart…this plugin does not sends woocommerce pixel events.
The issue is in the “hard coded” page slug name…
Also for the items (products) it would be very good to have option to choose between SKU and wp product_id.
Thanks!
]]>Hi,
We have installed the plugin on our site, and it seems to work grat for most of the events, but there seems to be an issue with the add to cart event when using ajax.
When the add to cart event is activated, out ajax add to cart won’t work, and it just keeps spinning.
Is there a known issue with ajax add to cart and is it something that can be fixed?
Thank you.
