Last week, SnapID stopped responding. Numbers pop up, but the login doesn’t occur. This was true for three different sites on two different servers, logging in from different locations. Sometimes when it has not worked temporarily in the past, text has been down, but it’s now been a week and still no responsiveness.
Did an update of a plugin or WP itself cause a conflict? Anyway, thanks for a great product.
]]>I’m building a website for a client and getting the following error when logging in:
Notice: Undefined index: snapid_login in …wp-content/plugins/snapid-two-factor-authentication/classes/snapid_wp.php on line 337
Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at …/plugins/snapid-two-factor-authentication/classes/snapid_wp.php:337) in …wp-includes/pluggable.php on line 948
This appears on the login page and I’m not able to proceed to the admin.
My account is an Administrator and has two-factor authentication turned on. I’ve been able to log into the site successfully before, but today, it won’t let me login at all.
I tried logging in using my username and password first, but I get the error above. I then tried using SnapID first, but it says since I have two-factor turned on, I need to use my username & password first.
I tried removing any cookies for this site and trying these steps again, but I’m still getting this error.
Can you help me figure out what I’m doing wrong?
]]>The SnapID box is showing up with the code after I enter my username and password, but nothing happens after I text the number with the code. I reset my SnapID in my User Profile in WordPress, but when I log out and log back in, I get the same issue. Is anyone else experiencing this issue?
]]>I just installed SnapID and was impressed by its simplicity of setup and operation. However, when I try to log in with the 2-factor authentication option enabled I often get only a line of stars showing up in the popup window where there should be a number to dial and a code to enter. At the top of the box it says “Cheatin’ Huh?”. What does that mean?? This can go on for 4 or 5 attempts to login until the stars finally disappear and are replaced by the needed numbers to call in. Is there a simple fix for this problem?
Thanks,
Greg
Hello and thank you for developing this plugin.
This error msg started today on the site I am using SnapID. Attempting to login via SnapID or the regular login fields failed. Upon deactivating the SnapID plugin, I was able to login via regular login.
Upon updating SnapID and deactivating all other plugins, the same error msg continued.
