Other snow effects are jerky and ugly. This one offers smooth snowflakes and customizations, including page filter. A bit heavy on CPU usage though.

Very good: smooth effect, quite realistic. Snowflakes stack at the bottom of the window. You can select the page, number and other settings for snowflakes, exclude it on mobile, etc.
I’ve chosen this among all others I tested.
