This plugin does the trick.
I started off with no background in html, css, jquery or any other technical field when it comes to website building. But I had to get into it for my new venture.
SiteOrigin’s Page Builder seemed to make life easier but I hit the roadblock when it came to animation. I fetched many tutorials to learn it but the jargonism got me good.
Luckily, SO Page Builder Animate came to the rescue and gave another newbie hope to survive.

The fade effect stopped working. It became a slide, which has a totally different look, less elegant, and it’s inconsistent with the rest of the site. I contacted support, which could not explain, much less fix, the issue.
The effect worked well on the first few pages where it was installed, but it failed on subsequent pages. But the plugin may worth a try, anyway. It’s easy to remove from the site, even if it’s not a comprehensive and reliable solution to add animation to numerous pages.

This is exactly what SiteOrigins Page Builder was missing!
I’ve tested this plugin on 3 different test environments and it works great.
Normally I’d be hesitant about using an add-on to anthers plugin, hence why I tested 3 times. Looking forward to seeing this plugin mature.
