]]>When I share a post or page from my wordpress site, the plugin is pulling this caption from the host provider somehow instead of the title from WP.
“FOLLOWFREAKS.COM is Powered by Domain.com”
The part “is Powered by Domain.com” is unwanted, it should pull the title of the WP site no?
How does sociable do the website lookup? to add to the facebook share?
]]>I have the Sociable Pro plugin and I am supposed to be able to add my own icons and also add new social icon profiles to the plugin. It does not work. And NO ONE answers on the plugin’s help forum.

]]>When debug mode is on, I receive the following error when going to the Sociable panel in the dashboard:

I removed the $selected from the line and it works fine. $selected wasn’t even defined in the function scope, so I assume it’s some atavistic piece of an earlier version.
]]>I used to use this plug-in under WP 3.1.4 and loved it. Recently updated the WP to 3.2.1 and not working now… ?? The icons are not visible and “x”marks were placed instead. I can still click on it, and it takes me to the linked site but it’s not pretty being on the home page with no images…
I like the new dashboard so I really don’t want to rollback….

]]>At the moment, CSS customisation is very limited. Could you please add this line of code to the show_site method of the Sociable class:

]]>I recently made the mistake of upgrading to Sociable Pro version for $10ish which includes a quarterly support subscription through WPplugins.com/WPMUdev.org. After I had problems installing it on Genesis child themes and Caroline, I attempted to contact the developer through WPMUdev.org but I then saw he hadn’t answered anyone’s questions for a month.
So I asked WPPlugins.com/WPMUdev.org to help facilitate communication with the developer, their answer was “it’s not our job, you should try to contact the developer yourself.” Funny it was their job to take my money and setup a quarterly subscription but they think it’s not their job to make sure their developers are response to paying customers?
I admit I hate it when I get bad customer service from a company “associated” with the WP platform (not company). I have gotten great support from Graph Paper Press, Elegant Themes, various ThemeForest authors, StudioPress and more, so it steams me when companies don’t follow through on their commitments. End of rant.

I really like this plugin, but there’s one little thing that kind of bugs me: the Twitter icon has two tiny little black dots on it. It’s not that noticeable but I’m kind of a perfectionist. Any plans to fix this? I suppose I could use Pro and upload my own icon, but I’m still deciding on which social plugin to use.

The only thing I can’t find out is how to set a custom Tag Line. I’m already using the manual function <?php global $sociable; echo $sociable->get_links(); ?> but is there a option to insert a tag line?
If I enter the tagline above the code, it places it outside the “sociable” div and also above the Facebook button. I would like to have the tag line on it’s original place between those.
I want “Share this page” or “Share this Post” or “Share this Item” etc.. on different pages/post. But how? ??
]]>When trying to post links to my pages on social networking sites, it isn’t pulling the description from the meta description where I was entering specific content for each page, but from the og:description which appears to be added to the page via the Sociable plugin. In my case it was using the tagline for Sociable “Share and Enjoy” which really isn’t a description of the page, so I’d have to change every time I post to a social network.
The og:description should really be a proper description of the page, either taken from the meta description or, if none exists, perhaps the excerpt or first 100 characters of the content.
The og:title is pulling from the post title which works fine for me.

Both WP-Print and WP-Email make use of a tweaked URL-structure, meaning for an article to be processed by the plugin, they (Lester Chan) added a nofollow
to the Permalink, rendering a new (in this case printerfriendly) page.
I tried to generate such a URL from within Sociable but can’t get it to work. It needs to be relative (obviously), but when I use
PERMALINK/print
(see code above) it renders this: https://www.myblog.de/category/PERMALINK/print, therefore breaking the URL…
Any workaround possible? Is it able to reset the “base info” to NULL, which would enable the PERMALINK-option? Any other commands than PERMALINK, TITLE, EXCERPT? Can I define one?

I am currently using Sociable for wordpress 3.0 on my site, but I would like to be able to track how many people are subscribing to my feed and have started a Feedburner account. Does the RSS icon from Sociable link up to my feedburner automatically or do I need to change settings somewhere (if so, where?), or is that not a capability?
