]]>This plugin seems abandoned, the current author ( blogplay.com ) seems to have changed to an SEO/Leads site.
There are a few little things that need to be done to maintain this, notable a small tweak for https and also for PHP 7.
With the author now not responding, is there a way to fork this other than a straight copy and republish as a new plugin?

For security reasons we don’t allow direct outgoing http requests. All requests to external servers have to be made through a proxy server. WordPress offers the two options WP_PROXY_HOST and WP_PROXY_PORT to support this. But those settings are not taken into account when requests are made from the sociable plugin.
I added the following code for the curl requests i found in includes/async_request.php, includes/skyscraper_output.php and includes/sociable_output.php.

We’re recently updated our site with a new responsive framework. All the URLs have stayed the same, and the social counts from Facebook and LinkedIn display as normal.
However, the Tweet and G+1 counts have zeroed out and are only displaying activity since the new responsive framework was put in place. Again, all of the URLs have remained the same.
Is there cache or something we can clear, to get the social activity from Twitter and G+ to display again?

]]>Sociable buttons are appearing on custom post types where we don’t want them. There is no “Disable sociable” check box on custom post types, like there is for standard blog posts.
Is there any way to turn off Sociable so the share icons do not appear on custom post types?

on my wordpress 3.4.2 web page the sociable version 4.3.4.1 was works properly but few days before the web page can’t load on visaitors browsers properly. When I disable the sociable plugin the web page works properly. The problem is still on sociable plugin. When I try to visit sociable developers web page the developers page (blogplay.com) can’t load and it still closed web page.
If you have any solution please explain to me. Beacuse my friend can’t lost the facebook total visitor and like counts on the page.
