One question, any plans to URL shorteners? This would be especially useful for twitter/X, specially since, your plugin currently counts the URL as part of the 280 characters.

Social Engine forwards it to Facebook and Instagram. When the text more than 50 letters, the text always ends with a strange code string &hellip. Do you think the problem is due to us using a plugin? Is it possible to publish more than 50 letters?

when attempting to set up the plugin I get this error (Please either delete all the drafts or validate all of them before turning off this option.) I checked the Dashboard to delete any prior publications and get this error (There are no services set up yet. Please visit the settings and add services before using this dashboard.) so that’s kind of a circle. I deleted the social app and reinstalled it to no avail. would someone have some guidance? I did follow some of the suggestions in the forum but am still stuck.

I have a question regarding the post template.
I like to keep things simple, so I usually just use the title and link. This works fine with Twitter, but on Facebook, I have to manually copy and paste the link for it to be embedded. Otherwise, your plugin defaults to sending the featured image.
Is there a way to configure the template to automatically fill this field with the link for Facebook posts?

]]>I was able to get the facebook, instagram and twitter integration set up correctly. We have the plugin set to post immediately bit nothing gets posted on any of our accounts. When I click dashboard it’s empty? Is there something there to adjust this? I tried the app on multiple sites and have the same issue.

On top of that, in the Basic Settings screen, I can only set the Mastodon service as default, even though I also have created a Faceook/Instagram service.

I have a small problem with post schedule, probably somehow related to timezone.
Example: I want to publish post on 25 March 2024, 14:22. By default each time when I try use your plugin it’s adding 12 hours.
So in this scenario that would be Mar 26 02:22am Tuesday.

I just tried out the amazing “social engine” and I would love to see and test all the features. Unfortunately, I am not able to schedule any post. I have connected Instagram and a Facebook page. Whenever I try to create a new social media post, I get the following error message (with a very red backgound) :

]]>I installed the free version to test before purchasing, entered the wrong Twitter API. When I deleted the API key and clicked outside the API key text box I got an error and the entire site stopped working altogether. I had to remove the plugin via cPanel to recover. I then reinstalled the plugin. Now when I try to add any service, not just Twitter, I get this message when clicking the New Service buttons:

]]>Hi. We want to test social engine in a manual approach. My expectation is that someone creates a post, goes to the dashboard and makes a suitable description for Twitter, hashtags, one to four pictures for this post, including a link to the post. Ideally the ‘post excerpt’ would be taken as the default for the twitter description, and at least the featured image would be taken for this twitter post.
I can’t see the newly created post in the dashboard. Either my expectation is wrong, my settings or my behaviour are wrong.
Settings: The twitter service seems to be ok. Auto-Schedule Posts is set do default/select and there is no schedule.
