Hi, we started using this plugin a few weeks ago on clevelandfoundation.org, but we’re having an issue with pulling the feed from facebook. we are not having any issues with facebook, instagram or Youtube (I updated the code to work for Youtube API v3). I haven’t been able to troubleshoot what the issue is. happens with both scheduled cron jobs and manual updating the feed.

Is it possible to revise the frequency that the (wp) cron job runs without manually clicking the button in the options page?

Ideally, I would love for this to update hourly.

I am attempting to pull in an Instagram feed for a client with a user name of FIRSTWORD_SECONDWORD. Unfortunately, the plugin imports the feed for an entirely different account by the name of FIRSTWORDSECONDWORD. I have verified that the user name and access token are stored in the database correctly, and have also tried manually importing, to no avail. Any help would be appreciated – any thoughts?

Since upgrading to WordPress 4.0.1 this plugin disables the Featured Image. I also tried this on a completely new install of wordpress with no other plugins and using the 2014 theme and no luck. As soon as the plugin is activated, the Featured Image is no longer available in posts and pages in the backed.

But if a featured image has already been uploaded, it will still show on the front end.

Any chance there is a fix for this? I’m at the tail end of a site that uses this great plugin.

Pretty awesome plugin you got here. I’m curious if there is an easy way to make it aggregate multiple accounts of one social media source, such as I would want it to be pulling data from 2 Twitter accounts.

Great idea for a plugin and it’s exactly what we need for a new project. Unfortunately, I got the following fatal error when activating the plugin:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_FUNCTION, expecting ‘)’ in […]/wp-content/plugins/social-media-aggregator/im-social-aggregator.php on line 972

We use WordPress 4.0 and it’s a multisite on PHP 5.2. Do you think it might be the PHP version that is causing this?

Great plugin!

I can see that when adding Instagram, all the text content from the posts renders in the social content section – when I view the posts it loads the text without images. Then, when I add the shortcode to a page, I only get the images rendering. Where is the connect between the text content from the feed and the images that are rendered on the page?

I’ve enabled facebook as one of the feed options and put in the page ID of the facebook page. This is the id, which works for other feed readers: 289849067704612

However, this plugin is unable to grab the posts from the facebook page. Even after resetting and manually fetching the feeds. Other social media networks work though, for example, I can load my vimeo feed.

How do I get the facebook feed though?

I used the basic short code and it works fine. But when switched to the 4 column short code, it still displays it all in one long column. Could you check to see if it functions as intended?

I am having a content display issue. When I insert the shortcode [imsa] on a page images from Facebook, Instagram etc. appear on the page. However any content surrounding the images does not appear.

When in my dashboard and I go to Social Content and click on a post entry the content surrounding the post is there without the image.

How do I get “full” published content to display including photos and content?
