A text string of the share buttons appears at the beginning of the shared twitter excerpt when sharing to twitter. I can share a screenshot from twitter.
]]>When using the LinkedIn share button, you end up with a page at LinkedIn saying:
“Oops! It’s not you. It’s us. Give it another try, please”
I have found online that this could be initiated at the LinkedIn end but is this the case?
Because others report changing functionality and after that not having an error at LinkedIn anymore.
Could this be an issue with the plugin?

I found that the email / envelope icon was missing from theme14.
Looking through the code, this is the fix I came up with.
In /wp-content/plugins/social-share-button/templates/buttons.php
Find line 14:
$html_button.= '<span class="button-icon"><i class="fa fa-'.$site_info['id'].'"></i></span>';
and replace with:
$html_button.= '<span class="button-icon"><i class="fa fa-'.$site_info['icon'].'"></i></span>';
Only Facebook doesn’t work.
New tab appears shortly and will be closed.
After this hovering Facebook appears not allowed sign.
Other shares function.
Popup blockers are disabled.

Is there any chance you could update the mail icon as this seems to be weirding out a little.
Also any chance of another option where you adjust the ‘wide’ version to be a little smaller, say the same height and make the icons square.

I noticed that the plugin introduces the tag in the page code “og: image” but left blank the attribute “content” and sending error in the Facebook opengraph debugging tool.

I want to get the social share buttons on the posts/articles and only on the homepage, not all the pages.I have a static homepage(not the posts page).
But, I could make it out. Either the buttons are available for all pages(if I enable button for pages) and otherwise not for any page(including homepage).
Please help, otherwise it is looking very ridiculous seeing share buttons at the “contact” page.

]]>When I click the Twitter icon, the title of the post shows up, but the URL does not. When I hover over the button, the twitter link that shows at the bottom of my browser says url=/article-name rather than the fully qualified URL. I’m sure I’ve just got a WP Setting wrong somewhere, but I’m stymied. This is not only happening with your product but several other social media button products I tried. My plan is to use yours (it’s the best looking one.) Can you guys help?

I’m using Genesis with a custom child theme. I installed the plugin and can see on inspection that all the scripts are loaded, but the plugin is not outputting the icons anywhere. I have changed the settings and hit save, thinking there was some kind of issue there, but no matter what I do (out of the box or custom setup) no icons show. What do I do next?
