I just want to know if there is something i’m doing wrong regarding WhatsApp social sharing function. When Im on the desktop version the share function works perfectly, but as soon as I’m on mobile the WhatsApp share function goes to the WhatsApp website and not the WhatsApp App installed on my phone.

Hi, I’ve requested by my managed-server provider that to lower the INNODB row count for supsystic_ss_views before they can upgrade my server to mariaDB10.4
At the moment the row count for the _supsystic_ss_views table is 7147670.
Is this required? Can I empty or delete this table safely?

I’m getting the error
Mixed Content: The page was loaded over HTTPS, but requested an insecure stylesheet ‘https://cdnjs.cloudflare.com/ajax/libs/animate.css/’. This request has been blocked; the content must be served over HTTPS.
If I disable Social Share Buttons by Supsystic then the error goes away.
I’m running wordpress 5.3.2 and Social Share Buttons by Supsystic 2.1.12
Any ideas please

Hi. Our site has been throwing errors consistently with your plugin and we’re having trouble figuring out why. The complaint is a non-defined WP function, which I’m guessing is really there, but which the plugin is being fooled into thinking doesn’t exist:

For some reason in some of the blog posts the social sharing buttons break down, in others they are ok. See for example the blog post “Huijarisyndrooma”. What could be the problem and how to fix it?

Hi, this plugin is awesome! Thanks a ton for creating it. I’ve been using it on my website with the Gallery plugin by suspsystic’ for a while now and have to say that they both work great together.

I just have one issue with it. On mobile, when someone tries to click on the Facebook share button, it opens the link m.facebook.com on the browser, rather than opening the app. It works fine with the Twitter share and Whatsapp (it opens both their apps) but it opens the mobile link for Facebook.

Any help would be appreciated. Looking forward to hearing from you!

When other plugins autoload Twig, it causes SocialSharing_Core_Module::registerTwigFunctions() to be hit in a recursive fashion. Wrapping each of the calls to $twig->addFunction() in that method with a try / catch resolves the \LogicException that would otherwise result on the outer recursion.

Tangentially, your extension functions should really be namespaced, like “ssbbs_plugin_directory_url“, or you might bump heads with someone else who shares your preference for generic function names.

Hello, I updated my theme, which is now using FontAwesome 5.2 and my email icon is now gone. What version of FontAwesome does this plugin use?

I have been testing out the free version of the Slider and Social Share buttons. I have setup a slider with social share for Facebook, printing and Email.

The buttons are there, I can rollover them but they are not visible. I tried to change the CSS for them, still nothing.

It is something that I don′t understand, and more when the new plugin, perhaps, has errors that we don′t know when they will be solved or when the author decides to respond.

Unfortunately, the plugin seems to enqueue the following files improperly:

/button/flat.css
/button/standard.css
/counter/arrowed.css
/counter/standard.css
/counter/white-arrowed.css

Those files should be enqueued using the wordpress api:
https://developer.www.ads-software.com/reference/functions/wp_enqueue_style/

Hard coding those links into the plugin files can cause conflicts with other plugins.
In my case, this makes the “Fast Velocity Minify” Plugin unusable because it can’t pick up the correct path of those files and merge them together.

Please take a look into this issue and let me know what you can do. Thanks in advance!

Hi, the plugin has a good number of social network support but strangely i cant locate Instagram. Is this option available on the plugin?

Secondly, in the admin area, the settings page doesn’t load properly. It loads to the farthest right of the screen and half of it is off screen.so its very hard to read and select the checkboxes for the networks. Is there something missing?

When I have the share buttons displayed in the sidebar, the Twitter share button is sharing the category instead of the post title.

However, this does not happen when the share buttons are displayed in the content area.

I use Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Mail Buttons on the post single pages via shortcode and have the problem that the first three always use the same post-URL on any post when clicked. The Mail Button instead always uses the right one. What might be the reason for the three buttons getting stuck with the same URL?
