I use X-theme, and the comments form styling was a little off. Some minor tweaks helped. The biggest issue was actually caused by another plugin, thought I’d mention it here in case anyone else comes across this. I use the “All In One WP Security” pack. I enabled a lot of security features, and suddenly I could no longer log in with the facebook button to comment. I tracked it down to this setting:
WP Security -> Firewall -> Additional Firewall Rules -> “Bad Query Strings”
With that option enabled, the redirect URL used by that facebook button, after logging in, returns a 404. So I had to disable that option. Otherwise everything works fine.

Might be a nice plugin but its circular logic is an exercise in futility.

Want to schedule a post and have it automatically publish? Well tough because it stopped working ages ago and no one seems to bother to want to fix it.
I used to love this plugin, but I’m now looking elsewhere for a plugin that a) works and b) is cared for.

So this seemed like the prefect way to broadcast new posts, but also bring twitter and fb comments on the story back to the site.
As far as I can tell it completely fails at all of that. It doesn’t automatically broadcast, you have to manually do that after the post is published. It will see Facebook comments but won’t import them to WordPress and as far as I can tell, it just hates twitter.
This plugin desperately needs updates, a more streamlined user experience and you know… to work.

I authenticated with Twitter twice, both in the Settings tab and in the Users tab, and refreshed the page, but it still would not display any accounts!

I loved this plugin, but it has not worked on the last two sites I have put it on. It will not let me login to my facebook.

Just a little fix, please change on line 1778 in social.php file from <style class="text/css"> to <style type="text/css">. It need to be type instead of class.

don’t bother. (at least with WP 3.9.1)
i’m the type that assumes i’ll have to play around with a plugin to get it to work 100% correctly…i spent 2 hours playing with this and there are just too many errors…
oh yeah, AND i’m working off a fresh WP install with only 2 plugins (Google Publisher & SEO by Yoast) active, so it’s not conflicts with other plugins…that’s a baaaaaaaaaaadddd sign
too bad, because it sounded awesome and appears to have potential

I have read support posts related to social comments pulling. And You simply flagged the case as resolved while the users are still having a problem. You only excuse is that it works on your side. What is that?!!!
Do you think you are providing support this way? Don’t you care about your reputation?
I encourage all users to uninstall this plugin because it simply doesn’t work and the support is totally careless!

Works well with Twitter, but will not pull Facebook comments if you use WordPress JetPack Publicize. I tried to use the plugin’s native Facebook broadcast feature, but it is not working on any blog I installed the plugin on. So I am disappointed Facebook does not work. Also, I wish it would allow you to manually associate a Facebook post to a WordPress comment, like it does for Twitter, but it does not. I think it is a good plugin, but it needs to be updated to be compatible with JetPack.

Does exactly what I wanted it to do.
Create a post and publish it as per usual. Then you get the option of editing and posting a shortened version of your content to your Twitter or FB accounts.

I really like the options from this software, social comments and posting are really good.
2 suggestions comes in mind for comments:
1. When pulling comments from social, also give the option to reply back to the same posting #id
2. Give the option to remove fields from comments, eg. I wanted to disallow “website” from the comment fields as it was used for spamming only, had to modify the code a bit…
Anyway a fantastic piece of plugin!
