It’s happening everywhere in my site but the homepage (where the theme develloper added a special widget to do so)

I ask because I installed the plugin using WordPress 6.4.3 and Soliloquy 2.7.4.3. I then went to Soliliquy -> Addons but the CSS Addon is not listed. I did create an Image Slider but it did not work.

thedomain.com:237:394I tried clearing the browser cache, then disabled Litespeed Cache and once more cleared the browser cache, but the error persisted.
Rolling back to version 2.7.4.1 fixes the problem, with all slideshows showing up and no JavaScript errors in the console.
It looks like it’s something in 2.7.4.2’s /assets/js/min/soliloquy-min.js, because I can just substitute the 2.7.4.1 version of that file and it fixes the problem as well.

I bumped into an error while I was testing the plugin together with User Switching on PHP 8.1 & WP 6.4.1.
PHP Fatal error: Uncaught TypeError: array_filter(): Argument #1 ($array) must be of type array, null given in /home/nginx/domains/mealplans.5dinners1hour.com/public/wp-content/plugins/soliloquy-lite/includes/admin/common.php:206It happened when I tried to access WP-Admin as a non-admin user (with User Switching).
The fix seems to be easy: the $submenu[‘edit.php?post_type=soliloquy’] variable needs to be checked if is an array and use an empty array instead if it’s a NULL value.
(I patched it locally and works, but would be great to see it in the next version, too)

You’ll see a slider partly down the page in the section called Love Waco… this was working fine until a couple days ago. The carousel add-on is not working now. If I turn it off the slider works, if I remove all custom css the carousel feature is still broken.

]]>Hello. As you can see at that page where I’m testing the Soliloquy slider, there’s a NARROW header above it, in the page.
That narrow header is enabled by the plugin Unique Headers. I have been able to do all my pages and posts with different unique headers, and I like it that way.
However, I want a full-size header slider on the HOME page. Can Soliloquy be installed in my home header without conflicting with my Unique Headers plugin?

]]>Despite having EWWW image optimizer enabled and set to convert everything to WEBP, the slider images still load in jpg as huge files. They seem to also load the webp in tandem, but the jpgs still load up :/
Also, it seems impossible to disable lazy loading for the slider images…

In the slider configuration settings, you can set the H/W for the slider. This works well, but for the instance I am using the slider, I need to always have it so the height is held to 100% of the image size and the width of the image be cropped. The reason for this, is the slider is being used as a full background display on mobile devices.
If you go to?https://atelierro.com/home-page?(you must use the /home-page in the url, as this is a test page) on a mobile device, you will see the slider in action. I set the slider dimensions to 834 x 1112 for the largest mobile viewport, an iPad Pro and it renders fine on that device. However, if you view it on any mobile device, less than 834px wide, (which is virtually all mobile devices (with the exception of iPad Pro) you will see that the slider holds the width at 100% and let’s the height fall short. I need the exact opposite and need the height to always fill the viewport and the width to crop. Is there any way to achieve this?

]]>I have a WordPress Theme called X-Pro from ThemeCo. Soliloquy Slider is an add-on to the Theme and as such, does not have a unique Soliloquy license. I assume this disqualifies me for any support from Soliloquy?
At any rate, I created a simple 5-slide carousel and used the short code to display the slider. No matter what settings I use, I get the slider at the top, and then below that is all 5 images sitting one on top of the other as a vertical list of still images. It makes no sense to me.
Please note, the link I provided only shows the slider on a mobile display, as there are different views for Desktop vs Mobile displays. Also, it takes a long time before the sliding portion of the display at the top appears. A full 15 seconds, or so.
UPDATE:
Issue resolved. Disabling Jetpack fixed the issue. There must be a bug/conflict with Jetpack. It’d be nice if this were resolved, as I like to keep Jetpack on my sites.

I do have the issue that on mobile my navigation dots disappear and I don’t have the possibility to slide left / right / anywhere
This occurs in desktop browser mobile preview and on real mobile devices.
What we can rule out:
– Caching
– CDN
– Plugins
– Theme
I disabled everything and tested it on a native WordPress / Gutenberg block, but still the issue remains. That why I’m at a loss over here and hope to get help from you. Because I want the lightest and fastest image slider out there to work on my page.
I also noticed that when I clear my mobile browser cache, the slider will be loaded like this on first load:?

I have set up a slider with 4 simple slides (images & caption). Now my client wants to make his site multilingual using polylang.
It would be awesome if the caption Field could show up on Polylang string translations – otherwise I’d have to duplicate the slider 4 times and load it conditionally, which would lead to a fragile if/else statement in the theme files.
? Is it possible to add this kind of funcionality?

Have a strange problem that the slider is taking ages to load – sometimes it doesnt load at all. However if I resize the browser window (even just drag it a tiny bit smaller) then the slider shows up instantly.

]]>I use multiple banners on a page (normally just homepage) for numerous websites and I have the same problem on all.
Basically the second banner doesn’t load, it shows the loading… icon and if you inspect it says could not load image. The image exists and is available if you open it from there. See the example website.
On a mobile sometimes all the banners will not load. Unlike the example I’ve given where it leaves the space the image would be, on a mobile there is no space left and no loading… icon.
I have the Pro version. Please please help as I am getting very frustrated with the lack of PRO support and need to get a couple of websites live that it is affecting. I have been unable to get PRO support help via the other avenues.

The double question mark returns an empty string by default if $_GET['action'] is null.

I’m trying to upload some Webp files based on Google Lighthouse recommendations.
When I use the drag and drop image uploader I get a File extension error. When I try to use the find files way of uploading the Webp files are greyed out and can’t be uploaded.
Is this simply not possible, or am I missing a setting to allow this?
