How do I add a mp4 file into a post as a gifv file?

I download a “gifv/mp4” file from imgur. Then upload it to my wordpress blog post. But it still gets insterted as a playable mp4 video files, instead of a gifv looping image type file.

I want to show the mp4 files inside my blog posts as gifv files but I’m not sure how to make it work?

Thank you so much for this plugin, it is exactly what I am looking for ??
The conversion of my gif to gifv is perfectly fine ; however, I have no idea how to insert my resulting gifv into my posts ?

When I use the gallery, I can either insert the gif (through an img src tag) or the mp4 video (through wordpress’ video tag). I did not find any way to insert the mp4 as if it was a gif file (with a gifv behaviour).

Did I miss something ?

Hi, this is the plugin I was waiting for, however at the moment I’m getting the Unable to sideload error when I try to convert a gif, when I check the uplaod dir I can see the mp4 it’s there, beside that nothing else happen. I’m using WP 4.6.1 in a multisite installation.

Any idea? Thanks.
