Only Activate and Edit available after install. I activated, and no change. Where is Settings?

Okay, I’m stupid. The installation instructions:
“Unzip sopablackout.zip and upload the contained files to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory”
When I download, there’s no zip file.

Hm, thought I’d test it out so I’d know what it would look like, but nothing happened. I checked the box to turn it on right now and updated. Nothing changed…nada… Still see my site fine (even logged out).

I tested this plugin and can’t get it to work — the page simply doesn’t appear, either in test mode or in “real time” mode (I changed the blackout date to test the second time). Is this compatible with the Thesis theme, or do I have to switch themes for this to work.
