I’m currently using SP Client Document Manager Premium and am concerned about compatibility with the latest WordPress and PHP versions. I understand that support for this plugin ended in March 2024, but I’d like to know if anyone has successfully run it with:
- WordPress versions 6.6.1
- PHP versions 8.0 and above (or whichever versions you are considering)
Additionally, I have tried reaching out to the developers at [email protected], but haven’t received a reply.
If anyone has tested this plugin with the latest versions or knows of any workarounds to maintain stability, I would really appreciate your advice!

]]>On one of my managed sites, Wordfence and Really Simple SSL report a critical risk with SP Project & Document Manager:
“The SP Project & Document Manager plugin for WordPress has a security issue called SQL Injection. This means that there is a problem with the way the plugin handles a certain type of information. Attackers with a certain level of access can use this issue to access sensitive information from the database. This problem affects all versions up to and including 4.71.”
I have tried deactivating the plugin but discovered that it is linked to my paid version of SP Client Document Manager Premium. It appears that I can only deactivate SP Project & Document Manager if I also deactivate SP Client Document Manager Premium, which prevents my document management system from running. This is a critical issue, please advise.
I bought your pro plugin:
SP CLIENT DOCUMENT MANAGER PREMIUM, SP Client Document Manager Google Drive Offload (total $175)
Then because you don’t answer the support ticket, the email doesn’t exist, I bought the CONFLICT SUPPORT ($65)
I never received an answer, so my client was very upset. I had to buy another plugin.
I called you to phone that is on your website and nobothy answers
I need to have the money back, it is not correct what you did.
Please users, beware when you use this plugin.

I try it an build a role for the certain user but she cannot see the “add files” button, only the logout button without Administrator-Role.

Hello, I am testing SP Project & Document Manager plugin, all work fine but I have an issue, If I use Reset Password funcionality I got an {“error”:”Failed”} message as you can see in screenshot below, the password is reset but that error message appears. Can I have a feedback please? Thanks

Mi spiego meglio:
I documenti sono in una pagina privata, visibile solo dopo il login. Se accedo con il profilo con il quale ho caricato i documenti vedo tutto correttamente, posso modificarli, eliminarli ecc.
Se mi autentico con un’utenza di test, fungendo da dipendente registrato al sito, non vedo nulla.
Sapete come posso risolvere?

I have installed the plugin SP Project and Document Manager. It works as a kind of file manager to upload/download files for logged in users also largely well.
A new user has to register on the register page. At the same time he will be registered in WP as a new user (subscriber).
Normally WP sends a notification email to the administrator’s email address each time a new user registers.
This also works when registering via WP login, but not (!) when registering via the plugin, although yes a new user is created at the same time (!).
Where is the error?

I have installed and tested the SP Project & Document Manager plugin. It works well and most importantly all my requirements for the plugin are met.
I have the following comments:
1. To make my personal contribution to the free plugin, I finished translating the translation files for German. There had still 20% missing for the completely translated files. Unfortunately there was no .pot file available, so I translated the .po/.mo files. Who is interested in the German files, I attach them here.

However, I would also like to translate other English terms like the “Login”, “Register”, “Password” etc. on the login page into German. However, I cannot find these terms in the translation files. Where can I translate them?
2. In addition, the reCaptcha in the login form does not work, although I have entered the appropriate keys in the settings. How do I enable the reCaptcha?

I added the standard shortcode to the desired page and it was working perfectly since the last days. The buttons for adding files and folders are not working and have a wrong redirect link that leads to the page itself without generating the popup to add the file itself.

Hello, i am having a slight issue (using the community version of the plugin). When I edit the option for the filename and for example I use %u-%y-%m-%d- as a prefix to the filename, the original file name vanishes and only the prefix is shown. If I don’t define any prefix, then the uploaded file retains its original filename. Is this a bug?

]]>If i create a Folder via Backend call “MASTER” and create in this a SubFolder call “Demo-01” that will work !
but if i want to create a new SubFolder in “Demo-01” with name “Demo-02” so it will create as Subfolder under “MASTER” and not under “Demo-01”

I was granted access to the 30 days trial…though I expected to run the trial on my installation and not somewhere else..anyway…
When I use the [cdm_public_view] shortcode I just see a folder named “Test” and a JPEG file…
Clicking on the Test folder reveals no files there…so when clicking the “Go Back” icon the parent directory looks different now as it has now much more files in it…so it shows no some files of type “embed” as well as several php files…
Doesn’t look convincing to me (o;

In the settings I only see an option to disable upload/delete from logged in users…but is there no way to just lists files/folders for users that are not logged in?

]]>I uploaded about 26 files and then all of the sudden it stopped uploading files. I created multiple directories and sub directories. But, now it looks like it is uploading the file and refreshes, but the file is not there. I even check the uploads directory on the server and the file isn’t there either.

The batch functionality in Premium appears to include a deprecated jQuery function, .live(). Inclusion of this function causes JS compilation to break because it throws a fatal error, which renders the upload functionality inoperable. Please fix ASAP.
