i am deleting this plugin. After I remove the shortcode from all posts/pages, will simply deactivating/ deleting the plugin remove all associated data from the plugin on my website?

I have been using this plugin for many years, and now it has stopped working on one page only, but it’s an important page with images.
Instead of creating a space it now shows [spacer height=”10px”] on the front end.
I have de-activated and re-activated but to no avail.
Would appreciate any help.

]]>Hello, I’m using the Spacer plugin with Tesseract theme and it did the job well. I was glad to have found it. Now I see that Tesseract theme developers advise not to use it with their theme, and unfortunately the code [spacer height=”20px”] is showing on the web pages. This will be showing in a number of my posts and I’m wondering if there is a way to remove the code without having to edit each page?
When I looked at the Spacer plugin WordPress page it says it has not been tested with my current version of WordPress, and I wonder if it’s not compatible with 4.6.1 and this is why the code is visible now?

The problem appears to be solved after reactivating Spacer plugin. I would still be interested to know if there is a way to remove the code without editing each post?

HI Everyone, I have a similar problem. When I am in my visual editor and I am trying to change 20px to 500px from the default code
spacer height=“20px”
the space doesn’t move from 20 to 500 px. Can someone help? Thank you.

What I do notice that is happening is, if I erase the 20 and type in 500, it doesn’t work. But if I leave the 20px the same and add a number between the 20px (for example 250px or 29999999990) then it moves. But if I erase the front number then nothing works.

It causes serious layout problems by putting in huge spaces on mobile screens. It looks like some code in the square brackets might fix this? Is this true and if so please provide the code. Thanks

Spacer looks like a nice simple solution to a common problem. A couple of questions:
1) I see that the shortcode appears in the visual editor. This is not really a problem, but is this intended or is the shortcode only supposed to appear in the html editor?
2) I see on the plugin page that it is compatible up to WP 3.6.1. Will there be any issues with using it on later versions of WordPress (I’m using 4.1)?
