Does this plugin or does anyone know of a plugin where you can setup a list of words that you would then have a cron job to search the comments every night and delete any comments that contain those words?

]]>I have more than 106.000 spam comments, but the plugin doesn’t delete them.
I tried to set the cron job to hourly, but also tried with the “Delete spam now” button. No success.

I don’t understand why CRON JOB is not working. I tried to delete comments one a day then once per hour I nothing happened.

]]>I have 211,945 of spam in my feedback. Godaddy is going to suspend my my account if i do not have it removed. They have been unsuccessful at helping me. I have used both Spam Comments Cleaner and Delete Comments By Status and still have spam n feedback. I am not allowing comments anymore. any help would be appreciated, or if you could direct me somewhere. thank you

Your plugin does clean spam on a good schedule, however it does not clear wp_commentmeta. The wp_commentmeta tables also needs to be cleaned with the wp_comments is cleared…. otherwise the wp_commentmeta weill continue to grow and grow and grow.
WordPress’ own “Empty Spam” button does appear to clean both wp_commentmeta and wp_comments… so your plugin should emulate that function too.

]]>Great plugin! As some spam stoppers dont delete the spam which is strange to say the least.
But what is the default settings for this plugin? It would be great if it could set a 14 days period as default so you don’t have to choose on every blog you install it on.
