Hello! I have had this plug in for a while and cannot seem to find a way to minimise the size of a white bar that goes along the top of all my pages in the mobile version of my pages.
I have an image to show what I am referring to, but can’t find anywhere to upload it, but if you view the page about on a mobile you will see what I mean. Is there a way to make this bar smaller, or get rid of it entirely, as I feel it slightly impacts the overall look of the website?
Thank you for any help you’re able to provide!
]]>Hello, my website was working good till I decided to update the pages of mobile version, suddenly some pages the desktop version lost the layout ( the page Gyrotonic for instance).
how to solve it?
]]>Hello Team,
I’m having an unusual issue with the FlyingPress plugin (https://flyingpress.com/). For some reason, the mobile version of the site is displaying the desktop version instead. We’ve configured the settings to create a separate cache for mobile, including the query string scfm-mobile
, but it doesn’t seem to be working as expected.
Interestingly, when I clear the cache, everything displays correctly, but after a few refreshes, the desktop version appears on mobile again. Could this be a compatibility issue?
I am also using Cloudflare Enterprise, which includes cache preloading. Any ideas or suggestions on what might be causing this would be greatly appreciated.
]]>Hi,
people on mobile can not make order because in url is showing : ?scfm-mobile=1

]]>I found this plug in and started to use it yesterday, and it’s exactly what I was looking for. I began by editing some of my pages to make them more mobile friendly, and was able to jump back and forth between them to ensure font styles/sized etc were all the same.
I have gone to begin working on the rest of the pages today, and needed to pull up the previous mobile versions so that I again could copy the formatting over. However, when I click the edit the mobile versions with my plug in, Visual Composer, the page will not load. I have tried clearing my cache and browsing history, turning my laptop off and on again, but it’s still not loading.
Also, yesterday when I began to create the mobile version, I started with a completely blank page which I had to copy over from the desktop version. However, now when I click to create a mobile site, it copies the data over. This isn’t necessary a problem, because it saves me having to manually input everything again, but I am curious as to why that will have happened.
I hope someone can help solve my issues!
Thank you
]]>This is a great plugin, BUT the listing on the sidebar menu is duplicated and I can’t figure out how to remove the duplication. I’m using the UnWind theme by SiteOrigin. Interesting, neither of these two menu listings refers to the mobile page (which uses the word above rather than left for the captions. I found a forum thread that suggested two possible css codes to fix a similar problem but neither worked. I’m just a volunteer with limited experience in web design and coding … but I’ve gotten this far! THANKS!
]]>Hello there!
Every now and then I see this error being thrown on my php error log:

It doesn’t seems to affect the showing of the mobile version of the site, but maybe is something worth to investigate?
]]>Hi, I’m getting this error:
ISSUE DETECTED!
Mobile not detected simulating a mobile device.
Read here. It can help to understand what is going on.
If it’s still not clear, open a thread on the?support forum
I use nitropack for caching and cdn, and I can clearly see in my dashboard that nitropack saves a version of the page for desktop and one version for mobile.
another issue I have is that when logged out, users see both mobile and desktop version of the pages/post if they search for it, but when logged in only one shows like it should.
This page is for mobile and desktop, if you search for it the result will come up twice, once for mobile and once for desktop, if you try entering the mobile page on desktop it will redirect you to the desktop version, however when logged in, it shows the page only once when searching for it.
NitroPack stores the different versions of the cache files in separate directories named desktop, mobile, and tablet.
another question I have is what do I gain from the pro version? I’m confused on what exactly “Mobile version for every custom post” means since I am able to create a mobile version for posts on the free version. Thank you in advance.

When we first installed this plug in it appeared to be working fine. I used the plug-in on 4 pages for testing.
Here is what happened:
Hosting on site ground, have tried every possible cache configuration, lazy load, etc. Very frustrating have spent hours working on mobile page versions only to have them work, then not. Running google ads and customers getting page not found or no forms to submit on. Please help.
]]>Hi all,
New to this plugin but loving it so far. I was wondering whether the way it works will in any way affect my search engine optimisation? Bad/Good/no impact?

]]>Hello, Giuseppe!
Is it possible to remove (or at least hide) the metabox that is added on the post edit page by the plugin? Talking about this one: https://snipboard.io/T92CSq.jpg

]]>hey Jose,
I already wrote an email; so just to be safe and as things press me a bit:
I bought the pro version.
but:
a) I couldn′t find a preset to activate exempting tablet view from the workings of the otherwise wonderful SCFM plugin
b) I also tried adding ?add_filter( ‘scfm_is_tablet_mobile’, ‘__return_false’ );? to the theme functions.php – w/o any success.
So, I am wondering how to achieve the exemption of tablet from the mobile rendering. especially as this was the one singular reason for me to go pro.
thx for any help! appreciate it, as I do the existence of this great plugin!

In the free version it is not possible to exclude mobile archives. That’s fine with me, but a doubt arises: Will the posts for PC devices be removed from the archives for mobile phones if I select the mobile phones only option?
]]>In the pro version there is the option for tablets are mobile devices or not.
Are tablets considered tablets in the free version? I have an online gaming site and I need to enter whether they are only for PCs, mobiles or both.
]]>I was using this plugin and it was working great. I had successfully created and edited quite a few pafges until it became completely unresponsive. It then started to show the message
ISSUE DETECTED!
Mobile not detected simulating a mobile device.
Since then I can flush the cache, create a new page and it will work but any updates after that won’t show and this message will reappear. I have searched for answers but nothing I have found has worked. For some reason my wordpress is preventing me from using W3 Total Cache but I did have another plugin which created a cache for mobile content but it didn’t solve the issue. Any help would be massively appreciated because using this plugin was a gamechanger and made creating the site so much easier.
Thanks,
Adam @discovereasetours.com
Edit: I did try delete and reinstall plugin. I lost all the pages I had created previously but upon reinstallation it immediately came back with the same message.
]]>I am trouble shooting the problem mobile version of your pages also being served on desktop devices. Thanks!

2. I have disabled cache from server provider, because the provider caching system a.k.a. nginx cache cannot distinguish desktop and mobile cache. SCMF doesn’t work correctly.
3. I have tried to install W3 Total Cache and set the cache group for mobile as in this thread, and this thread. Still doesn’t work correctly.
4. I have tried to disable W3 Total Cache and install Powered Cache and set the mobile cache, but still doesn’t work correctly.
5. I disabled Powered Cache, after that and enabled W3 Total Cache and make a test page with the text “This is Desktop” for desktop, and “This is Mobile” for mobile. It works when i publish both for the first time. When I add another text for the mobile “This is Mobile This is also Mobile” then I updated the mobile page, it shows correctly. This is the page: Test – Amrullah Studio
6. With W3 Total Cache enabled, I also tried to remake the mobile site by deleting and making it again. But it doesn’t change.
7. I am still seeing the warning on the dashboard: ISSUE DETECTED! Mobile not detected simulating a mobile device. etc.
8. I have checked my mobile browser through https://josemortellaro.com/collect-browser-information/ and it shows this info:
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; CPU iPhone OS 17_2_1 like Mac OS X) AppleWebKit/605.1.15 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/17.2 Mobile/15E148 Safari/604.1

]]>I understan that separate user groups in W3 Total Cache may solve this problem. However, there is no documentation on how to configure them The MOBILE and TABLET is existing and set to “Pass-through.” However, I can create a new DESKTOP user group, but it is not clear how to input User Agents.” there are multiple sources for these online, but no definitive list — and they are is weird formats such as Jason. How can I set up the DESKTOP and MOBILE user group in W3 Total Cache so that your plugin works as it should?
Do I set all to “Pass-through?”
What list of user agents works in the DESKTOP user group?
I really want this to work because I have multiple clients that thios will be good for with the paid version. I am just testing right now.

Thank you for the plugin!
I used it to make two versions of a page and it worked well. However since I set it as my homepage it only shows the desktop version and is not loading the mobile one anymore. What am I doing wrong?

]]>I am facing an error, that the page created on mobile. Page redirected too many times.
]]>Hi, total novice here.
I have tried to understand the issue and fix it by reading the other posts on here but being a total novice I have to admit I don’t understand it.
This is the message I got:
“ISSUE DETECTED!
Mobile not detected simulating a mobile device.”
I don’t know where to start with the information on this Forum. All I have done is installed the plugin and created pages for mobile. I am not using the upgrade version of the plugin.
Talking to people who have visited the website, a minority of them seem to have the opposite problem to: ‘Mobile not detected simulating a mobile device.’, because when they visited the website from their desktop they were served the mobile version.
So my question is, how do I fix the “mobile not detected simulating a mobile device” issue? And is it the same issue as the mobile version being served on desktop for a few users? If it isn’t, how do I fix that issue?
Many thanks
]]>I already installed W3 total cache but the error message still pops up and said “Mobile not detected simulating a mobile device.”
Uninstalled AIESEO plugin, since I saw in some thread that it resolved the same issue.
Not sure what to do next to resolve the issue.
]]>I just did a mobile friendly test on Google for my website and it says it’s not mobile friendly. I’m not a progressional or an expert at making responsive websites so I installed this plugin and it worked like a charm, however I have no idea how to get Google to find my website mobile friendly and I think it will affect ranking. Also I need help with integrating AISEO with the mobile version of the pages I created using this plugin. Basically, I want to synchronise this plugin to everything including being recognised for mobile friendliness.

]]>I got a lot of help with this plug-in that supports great features.
But we’ve reached one problem.
Our site supports translation of 4 languages through wpml plugin.
Successful mobile representation of the default language (English) page.
However, there was a problem when I converted the second language (Korean) page to mobile.
It encountered the ‘ISSUE DETECTED!’ alarm.
That’s why I’m inquiring.
What action should I take to make this plugin compatible with WPML’s plugins?
Hi Jose,
Amazing plugin, and really helpful. On all my pages the plugin works great, except for the Front page. I am using the BizBoost theme.
When I activated the plugin, the front page already had a mobile symbol on the pages list, indicating it had a mobile version of the page. However, there is no mobile page listed.
If I select ‘Edit mobile’ it comes up with “You attempted to edit an item that does not exist. Perhaps it was deleted?”
And if I attempt to visist the page on a mobile preview it sends me to my 404 page.
I am quite new to WordPress, so I may be missing something obvious. But it does seem odd it would work fine on other pages but not my front page.
