I installed the Spice box plugin however I was not happy with it so I deactivated and deleted it. Even though i deleted it, it seems to have corrupted my site where as per the url provided, it has this info popping up on the sidebar of all my pages with a sidebar and corrupting the widgets section in the Dashboar-Appearance-widget section.

the plugin use the deprecated function “jQuery.fn.live()” this breaks the customization via the frontend “Customizer”
I had to downgrade the JQuery version to 1.12.4-wp to get it work again

However, there is a file in that dir with the name spicepress-features-section.php, which is NOT in the include files list..
This file needs to be renamed spicepress-service.section.php and the everything works again.

I’m using Spicepress theme and my site is completely in French. I’m trying to change the date format of the articles on the main page, but it does not seem to want to change. Ive tried playing the format settings and still nothing. Is there a way to play with the format of the dates for that theme or within the php files.

I’ve downloaded the Spicepress theme and made a child theme – but I lost the Spicebox options in the Appereance menu when activating the child theme – is there any way to get the Spice Box functions back when using a child theme?
