We note in splashgate.php, starting line #57 or thereabouts, your de-register jquery, and re-register a very old version.
This is causing other jquery-dependant functionalities to break.
We have patched our site for now, by adding a function in our functions.php to de-register your version and re-register the default.
Moving forward, we suggest that probably your code should change to (a) make this de-registration and option and/or (b) to be able to specify a jquery version and/or location to load, when required?
]]>I use this plugin on a couple of client sites, and it’d be very beneficial if I could get it to work with a custom post type. Any chance of having this added to the next version?
If anyone else has successfully modified the plugin to do this, I’d love to hear what you did.
]]>Hello,
I am creating a website for a client, and he wants the splash page (using SplashGate) to be hosted on one website (creditdoesmatter.com) and ALL the website content hosted on another site (newelementmarketing.com).
Here’s the thing, he only wants to advertise creditdoesmatter.com, so all his viewers go there. We need to set it up so that once the viewer opts in they will be redirected to newelementmarketing.com, and we need to place a cookie so that after they’ve opted in – from that point forward – when they go to creditdoesmatter.com they will always be redirected to newelementmarketing.com.
Please let me know how I can do this using your plugin. Thank you!
Alysha
]]>My splashpage works ok if I have the recurring setting to 1 hour, but if I want the splash to load with each visit the enter site link does not go to my homepage, it instead redirects back to the splashpage. I tried linking the enter site to /news and /home and index.php and it all does the same thing and goes to the splashpage.
Also, why is there no minutes setting for the recurrence?
]]>I am trying to get the splash screen to show every time someone visits the home page or refreshes it. Under the option of “Splash Recurrance” I have tried selecting a few different options but even when the option of “Recurring every hour” is selected, once a visitor has gone to the site for the first time the splash screen does not recur, no matter how much time has passed.
]]>I’ve cleared everything in cookies, set the splash page, i see nothing when i visit the site in question. This would be a wonderful plugin and I will donate something if need be. Could use help!
I am using several other important plugins, so it must be made to be compatible
Spent at least 15-20 min trying to configure a plugin that does not work as described or at all with wordpress 3.4.1. Admin page shows, dialog box in page edit screen appears, just does nothing.
]]>I have installed. Set a page as splash, given it a lightbox status and nothing is happening!
]]>spalshgate installs, I create a page and ensure it is set up to splash but all the admin page shows is the page in question and a radio button, no other controls
]]>I’m wondering if it’s possible to have the splash page display only when a user tries to visit the home page, and not one of the interior pages.
So if a user visits https://www.website.com the splash will display, but if the user navigates to https://www.website.com/contact via a link, bookmark, manually entering the URL, etc., they would bypass the splash.
Thanks!
]]>When I install SplashGate, the ‘Make Page Splashable’ widget is available when editing any page.
Under Settings, SplashGate allows me to set the splashable page with a radio button. However, I do not see any of the other options described nor do I actually get a splash page when I visit my test site. I only noticed that I should have one by looking at the screenshot in the /splashgate directory of the management page.
My installation is not in the root www of my site if that makes a difference.
Could it be a problem with my theme? Do I have to manually edit any of the files to activate?
]]>When set to ‘page template’ it attempts to locate resources at ‘spashgate’ and throws 404. The fancybox option works although the window doesn’t have a close option on it.
Any thoughts. It’s just the plugin I need for a site I’m developing.

]]>I am trying to use this with the fancybox option enabled on the homepage of my website. However, whenever it is enabled, it stops the java slider that I have from loading images. Is there any way to fix this so I can use it?
