Is it possible to use this plug-in to have multiple people way rank teams in 3 categories, And then weigh the three categories. And produce a final 1-20 ranking list?
ex- category one is worth three times the amount of category three
Hi, I’ve tried to add rankers to a list but it won’t let me.
If I try to load the example csv file it gives me this error:

So I have taken all of the proper steps to create my lists, and put them into a multitude of list groups. The place I’m having trouble is with the short code for my rankers.
When I copy the short code onto my page, sometimes the chart will populate, sometimes I get minutes of scrolling through messages like
“Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home2/wagydk0aegr2/public_html/wp-content/plugins/sports-rankings-lists/wp-ranking.php on line 129”
The only difference with the messages that get posted instead of my chart is the number at the end.
You can check the link I provided- it has some charts that are workings and some that aren’t.
I am also unable to add the “limit_players” command. I get the same messages as referenced above when I try to add it to the short code, even in the charts that DO work.
Help me Obi Wan Kenobi: you’re my only hope.
Hi,
I have installed the Sports Rankings and Lists plugin onto a site I am currently using to test out a potential site I am looking to build and am having a couple of issues.
1. When I try uploading a csv for the players it doesn’t appear to work. I have created a list and have downloaded the example csv so I could test how the plugin work. In the list page I choose upload file, select the example.csv, then click file url button to populate the link url. I then click insert into post, and the import screen disappears but the players are not then imported into the list.
2. I created a second list where I added a few players manually so that I could test out the rankings, and see how it displays on the site. I have inserted the shortcode in to the page where I want the rankings to display and if you look at the relevant place on the site it shows the table with the two users who have ranked the lists. However instead of showing the player name, team and position in the first column of the table it shows a number. When inspecting the element in Chrome inspector the details appear but for some reason it is adding the display:none as an inline style to the relevant
. If you untick this element style in the inspector then the row displays the correct info in the relevant cells but I can not see why it is adding the inline style display:none. If needed then I can provide screenshots, but you can see this issue at the top of the page in the QB Rankings section.
Thanks in advance for your help.
The plugin is giving me the invalid argument error as others had in the past.
Doesn’t seem like this has been updated in a while, so not sure if that’s related to the issue.
I am getting the error on all uploads, even the sample test that is provided from the plugin.
Hello,
I would like to use this plugin to rank articles and sort items with this rank on a page.
is it possible to do this with this plugin?
Thanks
Hello,
I saw several topics about this issue but the solution doesn’t work for me.
As you can see on this page: https://todaycycling.esy.es/players/
the plugin doesn’t work on my template, I get several warning messages like “Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/u563183424/public_html/wp-content/plugins/sports-rankings-lists/wp-ranking.php on line 129” and nothing is displayed…
I tried to put the list by hand and I used also the csv file import example provided with the plugin but it doesn’t work…
Could you please help?
Thank you!
Hi Kurt…tyring to test out this plugin and for some reason it will only upload 191 PLayers. When i upload my list it gives me all 300 players and then i hit publish or update and it drops it back down to 191?
Not sure if its something on my end?
Hi Kurt.
Obviously we work in the same space, love what you have done with this plugin. Only question is, can we update the composite rankings so it shows 1,2,3 instead of 2,2,4,5,8,9,9..? I think it would display cleaner if the highest ranked player was #1 in composite, next highest #2 and so on

Can you enlighten me?

Hello,
I want a plugin that allows me to create a ranking for a fantasy game. there will be thousands of participants. I want to know if your plugin would be able to do that. Is there a limit for listing players? Can I show just top 20 of my list and the rest could be found by searching username? thank you for your answer.
best regards,
Pedro Espírito Santo
When I installed the plugin I received the following error:
The plugin generated 2 characters of unexpected output during activation. If you notice “headers already sent” messages, problems with syndication feeds or other issues, try deactivating or removing this plugin.
When I attempt to upload a csv file I receive this error:
Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at /home/content/58/11637758/html/wp-content/plugins/sports-rankings-lists/wp-ranking.php:286) in /home/content/58/11637758/html/wp-admin/async-upload.php on line 32
51
I’m positive it has nothing to do with file format and/or playing the correct data in the correct columns. Any other thoughts or ideas?
